I’ve wanted one of these cars for a long time now. It would make a wonder daily driver/sleeper with wide parts availability due to the fox platform. Unfortunately, they’re practically all gone now. The only ones you can find for sale these days are all mint examples on BAT and auto trader classic with $10K+ price tags.
The Lesabre Series in here was my absolute favorite. What was there? 16? They came from everywhere. The Silver beater was my kinda car. Let's talk BAH into building 1 or more of them. We could all throw... $10 ? in the hat, and one of us owns it. 👈🤔 That. ✌️😏💨☕️
Besides tires and exhaust, what does this car need to drive it on the road?? This year are there any particular cars you want to get back on the road??
I'll have to go through the fuel system, get it running right, get some collector plates and insurance on it then see what other problems surface and fix those. I'd be nice to get the 78 LTD back together but who knows how much spare time I'll have this year.
@@bah53 2001? You’ve had it almost 23 years now, wow by the way out of all of your cars you have I do like your Buick LeSabre’s you have you still got them? Which ones do run?
I've still got them all except for the red 97 lesabre my brother had. The only one that I know for sure runs is the purple one I fired up in the last video.
I'd definitely like to see this one back up and driving.

Wow I'm glad it started
Those were a nice car in the early stages of the mid-size era. It would be a good for a restoration :)
Keep the videos coming I like watching them
Hey, just curious when are you gonna work on the LTD? I’ve been waiting for years man.😂
I think I remember a few videos a little while back you had it driving around. How hard would it be to make it roadworthy again?

@@bah53 if you get a chance could you do a video of starting the LeSabre’s that run? How many LeSabre’s have you owned and your brother?
My guess as to why it hasn’t been started in a few years is because of the knocking noise coming from the engine
Shes a beauty

What's the point
Is the body to rusty to put the car back on the road
It's starting to get rusty but I don't think its too far gone yet.
@@bah53 suggestion. put fresh fuel in it and syphon the old gasoline out of it
@@bah53 and as you like to say " well this poor thing is starting to become one with the earth " 😄😅😅
