Ashtanayika | The Real Women

A range of emotions pass through a woman's mind. Ashtanayikas, or the eight emotional states of a woman represent stages of the relationship with her nayaka or hero. A modern take on these eight different emotional states, watch this movie featuring my disciples at Tharanginee; as they depict and define each of these nayikas as they may be interpreted in today's world.
