Just got my 2020 through the break in. Man what a sick bike. More power on demand with the boost button is so sick. I feel like the bike makes me better. Thank you Yamaha for putting up a great bike.
@@22YZ450FX after having mine awhile now I still love it, the way the bike flicks back under me in switch backs is the best... That being said the only thing I don't like is the air filter. I don't like how thin it is or where the air scoops are located I had to modify it to ride it in the dunes still scares me if it ever drops in the sand
@@ALBINO_BIGFOOT I upgraded to the GYTR air filter and it's really nice, I think twinair made it but it has a plastic vs aluminum cage which is not a problem. Yes dropping the bike in the sand would be bad and since it has the air sensor there idk how taking the top cover off would work out otherwise you could just take the cover off the top and it'd be a lot safer in the sand if dropped.. What tires did you end up with? I put Dunlop 606's they are nice but like the stock tires didn't last long.
The modern 4strokes just dont have that crack to their exaust note that the OLD air cooled XR-350, 500 ,600 HAD ESPECIALLY with a full aftermarket WHITE BROS REVERSE MEGAPHONE EXAUST SYSTEM 💥💪

Bought the same bike about a week before the pandemic! Were the stock maps (tunes) being used? I've been experimenting with different ones, but I noticed none of them like for the bike to be started in gear. I noticed this bike fired right up is why I'm asking.
We were just using the stock maps, from memory I had the smooth map selected for that start because the grass was pretty slippery. I had to have a couple of cracks to get one that good though, it's definitely hit or miss starting this thing in gear. I have a full review coming soon, I touch on this subject in that.
@@rodasmonster Depends what resolution and framerate the GoPro was set to. I suggest you look up some tutorials and learn about these things, there a lots of great ones on UA-cam.
I want to see the film when he went into the hole around the 5 minute mark. Bike stops, flip over the bars and pray like hell there's not a nice rock waiting for you on he landing.

I got the 2022 last year and it's already ripped up a set of tires and chain at 100hrs the best bike ever!
