i could barely get through this video sklgjjgfdg I think the reason I Need U was their breakout single is because it broke the "hard", hypermasculine concept they were trying to portray in the early days. First off, this is a classic, so if one is an ARMY, this video is a must. ^^ Next, I might be the only one with this sentiment, but this video isn't cringy to me. Not at all. The lyrics are good. The subject matter is important. The whole vibe is so different from everything else at that time, in my opinion. Stylistically, to me it seems like some research definitely went into it, as in an effort was made to not do things half-a**. (BTS never do anything half-a**, as someone dear to me once said.) The choreo is a classic, too. And what I like is that the whole thing corresponds to them at that age. They don't try to be older than they are. They don't try to be way cooler than they are, and they are pretty darn cool. And that MOVE in the choreo! Epic.

Ok, I may have overlooked a comment that finally mentioned it to you, but the reason the video you are looking at barely has any views is because back when they were a smaller group, and the company was smaller, they would release the videos both on the Bighit channel and the 1theK channel. 1theK puts english subs on almost all of the videos on that channel and is a good way for smaller companies to get more attention together as a collective than spread out over individual company or group channels. That is the video with more views, though surprisingly only 57mil.

Since the beginning, BTS has always been trying to spread a message no matter what it is. I love that. The thing is they talk about what they're feeling and seeing in that moment. Like even speaking about young love and crushes and stuff, at the age, that's what went through their minds. And it's so amazing to see them growing and to see how they convey their messages through their music.

i could barely get through this video sklgjjgfdg I think the reason I Need U was their breakout single is because it broke the "hard", hypermasculine concept they were trying to portray in the early days. That image was completely false and I think I Need U being so personal (at least in the MV) really let people see them as genuine artists with moving lyrics that don't function as just a concept.

First off, this is a classic, so if one is an ARMY, this video is a must. ^^ Next, I might be the only one with this sentiment, but this video isn't cringy to me. Not at all. The lyrics are good. The subject matter is important. The whole vibe is so different from everything else at that time, in my opinion. Stylistically, to me it seems like some research definitely went into it, as in an effort was made to not do things half-a**. (BTS never do anything half-a**, as someone dear to me once said.) The choreo is a classic, too. And what I like is that the whole thing corresponds to them at that age. They don't try to be older than they are. They don't try to be way cooler than they are, and they are pretty darn cool. And that MOVE in the choreo! Epic.

Ok, I may have overlooked a comment that finally mentioned it to you, but the reason the video you are looking at barely has any views is because back when they were a smaller group, and the company was smaller, they would release the videos both on the Bighit channel and the 1theK channel. 1theK puts english subs on almost all of the videos on that channel and is a good way for smaller companies to get more attention together as a collective than spread out over individual company or group channels. That is the video with more views, though surprisingly only 57mil.

Since the beginning, BTS has always been trying to spread a message no matter what it is. I love that. The thing is they talk about what they're feeling and seeing in that moment. Like even speaking about young love and crushes and stuff, at the age, that's what went through their minds. And it's so amazing to see them growing and to see how they convey their messages through their music.

Even now people say Joonie is the least popular of the group and the ugliest which is extremely sad. He once said the thoughtless hurtful comments that take 5 seconds to write can stick with him for 5 hours or even 5 days. Joon said he’s afraid of criticism because he cares too much. He needs to be appreciated more and his mixtape needs to stop being slept on. Joon is not only a beautiful person but a beautiful person with a beautiful mind and heart.
