  • Let’s take a look at a fun little Celtic tune called “the Keel Row”. It’s in the key of G and follows a traditional AA BB format.       Excellent idea. John Prince's great songs are very mandolin friendly. C'mon Neal, pick one out for us!

      @@TheCheermeister - Good news gentlemen, I went and checked out the song and it’s super easy and will make a great little lesson. Just to get you started though, it sounds like it’s a lot of chunking on an open D chord and the melody is all straight out of the D scale on the A and D strings.
