Unfortunately from what I've seen multiple people seem to have some qc issue with this figure. Megahouse really need to get better at their quality control cause these figures aren't exacly cheap :/

Just got this today. I’m happy with it for sure, but I completely agree with you about the articulation in the shoulders. The butterfly joint is a non factor, it does nothing for articulation. But that aside, its good. I love the paint work on mine, good accessories, and great likeness to zoro. Lots of good stuff. It’s my first VAH one piece figure, and definitely not my last.

It's sad this isn't among the good figures of the line. I'll probably still get him though because he's also my favorite character and I like the range of expressions he has.

you can pop the joints off on most of this figure, pretty sure it’s intentional

You can use a blow dryer to heat up the socket and shove it in
