I'm not against trying to uncover the truth behind lake monsters or anything (in fact, I made a documentary on my channel about the infamous Bear Lake Monster in the United States), but these ripples have such a consistent pattern, it's difficult for me to believe it's a lake monster. It's also so close to the shore. I doubt something that long and big would come that close to the shore. No one else in the video seems to upset or disturbed in anyway either.
@@MatthewHavertzPurposePictures - there was / is a great compilation of videos of alleged lake monsters, two of which looked just like black elongated giant eels weaving through the water in a slow, serpentine way with parts of their ‘bodies’ periodically arcing out of the water that I was all but convinced was some kind of novel genus of ‘super-fauna’, a giant eel, obviously . . . Turns out that they were just dredging hoses rotating around the lake and when I looked at it again, I thought, _’Oh yeah . . .’_ 🤣 Regardless, I’m still somewhat convinced that some kind of extra large piscean things as if yet unknown to science probably swim around some of those lakes . . .
Anyone who has spent any time on a lake has seen these type of waves; notice the skier in the background? Water vehicles cause these kind of waves all the time.
@@naturenuggets4613 yup, i lived my whole life at a beachfront neighborhood. when i was bored i would look out my window and watch the waves for hours, ive seen these waves many times
sadly, those r just waves. wakes like that can travel for miles, and appear to have come out of nowhere, out of site of their actual source(boat), and be the only disturbance on calm water. they’re pretty freaky tho, but that sadly ruins most of the long undulating, and “many humped” sightings. not all, there are still legit one of both those types, but most are just these traveling wakes:(
I just made the same comment - I don’t know what kind of fluid mechanics create these conditions (I’m guessing it’s more common in these narrow and compacted areas of the lake), but look at the sheer length of this phenomenon . . . Not even an oversized eel that greedily indulged itself for years in lieu of swimming out to sea could achieve a length like that. I’m open to the possibility of a ‘cryptid’ lake ‘monster’ (animal), inhabiting a an assortment of mid-sized + larger lakes in the northern hemisphere, but this _cannot_ be that.
Those wakes are not caused by any boat. It's plain to see the calm waters that are in front of the wakes. They are being made by something moving just below the surface of the water ....just like many other mysterious waves that appear out of nowhere in Lake Okanagan ✨️ By process of elimination, I suspect it's the legendary lake dragon making those speedy wakes 🐉 ....the solid lengths of wakes made by a boat can be seen at the end of the video versus the broken lengths of wakes made by the large object moving under the surface : ) Great catch! Thanks for sharing 🌟
I mean, if you're trying to pull a fast one you'd cut the video when the waves were farther out and push a sense of ambiguity like other hoaxers do. By the time it gets close to shore it becomes "painfully" obvious what it really is. It starts to dissipate, the shoreline and hut add scale showing how small the thing is, it moves inward towards shallows rather than out towards deeper waters, and is plain sight of several spectators and drivers who couldn't seem to care less. Some people don't even want to try I guess.
I have no idea if these are waves or what ? But curious to know why the birds are not nervous , unless it is something that's been there for years and they know it's not going to bother them. Who knows. Life can be a mystery
A boat wake, I can’t imagine Ogopogo getting that close to all that noise from all those people in that narrow shallow end of the lake, these creatures are supposed to be sensitive to noise and will dive if they hear a nearby car door slamming shut.
light reflecting on wave tips it looks like, or the unfindable beastie is incredibly long and we're absolutely useless in spotting anything of it other than mysterious nothings.
If it's a boat wake (first of all its too long to be-- AND it's not the same pattern a boat would leave)-- where's the freakin boat?? Nobody thinks for themselves anymore, monkey see monkey do in the comments section. How unintelligent. This generation is F****D.
ua-cam.com/video/qoJ8F5VkY_k/v-deo.html En Chile tambien se ha visto esta especie , es instrigante ver como existen animales que han existido antes del hombre
I think there is a species of giant eel that exists in various bodies of water all over the world. It seems very elusive despite its massive size. Here is one from where I live m.ua-cam.com/video/BmSb4N8SiY0/v-deo.html
I can’t imagine any animal being that long. This _must_ be a wave formation in a relatively narrow and constricted part of the lake.
Or two or three animals swimming in a line.
Because it is a wave dude

Waves man!
Lol

Everyone knows that the Ogopogo can disguise itself as waves. It's even been known to mimic the vocal patterns of a frog.
Those are waves , especially along the road to Pentiction, its very shallow, and boat-wakes will ripple like that to the shore.
I wish they'd stop calling it a sea monster when it's clearly been an inhabitant of this lake for hundreds of years.
but its name is champ!!!
Yep, waves lived in that lake for a long time.
It's a boat wake brother
Waves dude.
WAVES??????? *wheeze* ITS A FUKIN LAKE There are no waves in a lake
Even the swans are not impressed
Forget the critter and just enjoy the magnificent location!

Yep, and they are helped rolling by the wind.

That was absolutely huge

No dout waves.
love going to these videos and seeing light reflecting off waves. come one people, step up your game.
Step up your grammar.
@@animalactions5111 Step up your videos...... 😂
WOW THAT’S AMAZING
Give me a break, that is sooooooo boat wake
Yeah, I don’t know.
Unfortunately..... that is just a wave

Sad that a video puts you in pain but no not going to cut anything to pull anything
Damn brother knows how to edit
When did boat wakes become lake Monsters? The pawg piled up on the beach is more a Monster
I have no idea if these are waves or what ? But curious to know why the birds are not nervous , unless it is something that's been there for years and they know it's not going to bother them. Who knows. Life can be a mystery
I believe they call those waves!!!
The dreaded WAKE monster, clearly further out in the lake a boat went by causing the wake.
Lake serpent?
Waves in that formation? Come on
""Hey... this coronavirus thing is over.? I want to go out again".
that is soooo long, wow!
You filmed waves man
Those are just waves.
Just waves
If I were ogopogo, I’d swim right up to the beach front too.
The whitewater on the crest of a wave does not a sea monster make.
That waters cold. ...and it’s deep too😈
that's also like urinal water. not only is it cold it's deep too.
Make me some biscuits. Mmm hmm
How long is that thing, man?
It's just a rouge wave
I live in front of a large beautiful lake and if that's a monster, then i've seen monsters every day since 1987
Lake monster or Wake monster?
Seals swimming together 😂💕🇮🇳
Waves. No one on the shore is excited.
Why would you be excited to be eaten by a monster? haha
ogo a go go on the go!
Wake waves.
People saying it's waves can't see the clear fin in this video.
You left out the part where the boat went by and caused that wake.
A boat wake, I can’t imagine Ogopogo getting that close to all that noise from all those people in that narrow shallow end of the lake, these creatures are supposed to be sensitive to noise and will dive if they hear a nearby car door slamming shut.
Why do I keep clicking on these clips? Nothing to see except waves...
Definitely waves
If it was a monster i think those swans would have been out of there
Waves and more waves lol
light reflecting on wave tips it looks like, or the unfindable beastie is incredibly long and we're absolutely useless in spotting anything of it other than mysterious nothings.
Wakes from a boat .....wow
Waves.
A sea monster in a lake, crazy.
That is a very long creature. Could be an oar fish which to about 50 or 60 ft. or some other creature but like I said that's a very long creature
Monster wake.
Those are waves
also waves
If you really thought it was a lake monster wouldn't you be yelling for everybody to look over there? I would!!
Nope. Even Ogi needs a snack.
That's just the wind lol
It's waves...
As a zoologist I think this is a giant eel
it's a current from a boat......
Looks like a current
There’s gotta be something to this because they are like in Lakes all over the world. Hmmm
at the end of the video some monsters are riding 🚤 over the water
Looks like small waves to me
if these are "waves" I've have never seen the "water" - don't know what it is but these are not waves - this animal is moving at a fast pace
No water creatures move like that that's just a wave...
ปลาฝูงใหญ่มาก
Just in case, I wouldn't swim, for I don't like the idea of half of me being pulled out of the water.
It's a boat wake.
Just waves, calm down.
Wake Monster
Обычная волна..
No fockin way
It's a wake.
nothing here
The Swan have Not Panik 😉

2014. 112,000 views and counting including you haha
Lake monster if it's a lake sea is out at sea and there's no monster just Waves 😂
Waves just waves. Lol
This is why I don't swim in open water🐉
Looks like someone is dragging a fishing net with weights or a rope Hoax

Honestly get a grip mate. Why aren't the people responding? Because it's a wave that's why. Sea Serpent my arse. 🏴
Seamonster or as its known by right thinking people boat wake!
Its call underwater wa es dude 😄😅😅

Y si el monstruo sale del agua y se come a todas esas gentes
Weather balloons, swamp gas.
People do not understand the depths of the oceans and the waters and what's truly in them. Read Revelation Chapter 2 verses 18 through 28
Quoting the bible is like quoting Mad Magazine
It's an under wave. Worm waters meets cold water
Why are there worms in the water? haha
