    As a single mom, I would like having 2 separate beds. I have to think the table could be removed entirely along with the side cushions forming 2 beds. Is that the case? The head of the beds would be at the front of the trailer.
    Thanks for a great review. I was relieved to know the reason Grand Design discontinued this trailer too.

    The cushion solution is easy, we just purchased this. Camping is about the outdoors so we bought a screen room and have our kitchen table outside and the bed permanently setup inside. I'm 6'3" and this is the only small camper we found that is comfortable for bed size, ceiling height etc. The only problem days will be when it's raining and the bed changes to a table, then they will go in the shower area after showers are done. Also the diamond plate rock guard shows as standard on the website and is on ours.

      This is a great trailer and great that you got one before they are all gone. We agree the bed is huge and where there is a will there is a way. Your plan is fantastic and we are glad it suits you so well. It would not work for us but that is the beauty of RVs, as we always say there is right RV out there for everyone, its just a matter of figuring out you can make it work for you. Thanks for sharing your experience and for watching. Enjoy your Imagine 15.

    Would be nicer to have the sink on the left hand side of the back counter so you can have access to the sink even with the slide in. Hence, you can have access to everything even with the slide in.

    I wonder if you could remove all the side cushion and make one or two single (twin beds)? If so and you are a solo traveler, you could keep one side made up as a bed all the time.

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  2 роки тому +1

      You could remove the side cushions and just use what is there for a bed without making down the entire table but the table would still hang over the sleeping space but it would be a good plan for a solo traveller who is ok with moving the table each night. Thanks for watching

    This is a nice little unit, but, I agree with you. It needs a murphy bed. Great video!

      It really is. We love the floor plan too and a Murphy bed would be fantastic but we would still need a dining table so you know how it goes, nothing is ever perfect, pros and cons. Thanks for watching.

    No clue what to do with the bed except it might be able to be kept underneath in that long area?? But seems like a pain and you would have to keep only very clean things underneath. You could leave it as a permanent bed also?? Or stack them in front of the windows which wouldn’t be good either. I think they would best be stored in the long area underneath at least they would be out of the way. Maybe wrap them in a tarp to keep them clean

    Awesome trailer, so much storage in a small size trailer. Like everyone one else has said about the bed/dinette situation, not a fan of having to reset the bed/table twice a day. And do you really need that huge dinette for a 2 person trailer? I'd rather have a Murphy bed and a table that would work for when it's a couch ( if it would fit). Love your UA-cam channel, as it gives perspective from a different point of view, my partner is "vertically challenged" and you point out items which would make or break it for her, but I wouldn't necessarily even notice. Thank you!

      Glad you like our channel and we are happy to share a different perspective. It all counts. We liked this trailer too and we agree a Murphy bed would be great but we would still need a dinette, we couldn't make due with just a couch. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching

    cool little trailer, but they gotta figure that bed out.

      We agree and we don't think it would even be hard to change those cushions up but sadly it will not make it down the production line again so we will never find out. Thanks for watching.

    • @DoesSizeMatter

      @@jasona7350 I guess that'll work if you don't mind moving them around. We use our shower all of the time so that would be the difference for us.

    Such a generous dining area and BIG kitchen for a small trailer! Great for daytime use. Not sure about the nighttime conversion. If we had that trailer, we'd probably put the cushions in the back seat of our tow vehicle? Kind of a pain, though! I'm with you; I like to lounge in bed to rest in the afternoon, etc. Not sure I would ever make it into a dinette!

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому

      The car is for sure a good out of the way place for the cushions and probably once you get into the routine of it, it's not that big of a deal. Thanks for the idea and for watching.

    I’d just keep the bed down and then utilize tv tables if the weather wouldn’t allow for outside enjoyment. But that’s just hubby and I, we are outside the majority of the time. We currently own a little trailer too ☺️

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому

      Yep that could work too. We need work space, which when we can we do outside but often that is what we need our dinette for. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching

    They cant figure out how to make that table sturdier? 🤔

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому +1

      This is a very common table found in many different RVs. Like we said not our favourite but it does allow the table to be moved around and used elsewhere. So we guess it is the pros and cons of RVs but ya we would have liked it to be more stable too. Thanks for watching.

    Grand design never ceases to amaze me with all their storage compared to other manufacturers. If I was camping alone definitely would be a pick but we prefer something bigger. Grand design is definitely on our list for a future camper. Those cushions I just don't know what you would do with them. We prefer a regular bed with a privacy door even though it's just the two of us. Like the bedroom to be separate from the rest of the camper. Overall though very functional little camper best I've seen in a Floorplan with awesome storage

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому +1

      Glad you liked it and we know what you mean about the storage. It is fantastic! We too prefer a made up bed but if we didn't (and we could figure out these cushions) this would be a great floor plan for us. Good luck in search. Let us know if we can help you out. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and watching.

    Could the cushions be attached with Velcro to the back wall?

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому

      They may be able to but that wall has a curve in it and the cushions are quite a bit more thick than the other back cushions so it would become an uneven experience for your back while sitting. Great idea though. Thanks for watching.

    • @jasona7350

    Including the first that he showed us his cup I counted 5. I don't know how you managed to open that medicine cabinet with a straight face 😂
    Leave the extra cushions at home. Take down the side cushions and you have two single beds. Just take the table outside or fold it away for the night.
    It is a great floor plan. Personally I think a couch and Murphy bed would make it perfect.

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому

      Haha, I think I'm just so used to stumbling across that cup everywhere I look that it doesn't phase me. Now you know how my everyday is 😂😂 Your idea about the two single beds is brilliant! We never thought of that but it would solve all of the problems. Nice job! We love the Murphy bed idea too but we still need a dinette. Hmmm maybe we could get them to come up with a Murphy bed/dinette floor plan. Some of the Class B+s do that. I wonder if they are listening to us. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching.

      We loved this trailer too. Making up a bed is never for us but if a person is ok with that this is an awesome trailer if only those cushions worked. We were so baffled by them and ya that coffee cup just won't go away haha Thanks for watching.

    I think this was a murphy bed set up but didn't work - that couch was not usable. They must be dropping it cause they just can't figure out the bed.

    • @DoesSizeMatter
      @DoesSizeMatter  3 роки тому +1

      The reason they are dropping it is the weight is too heavy for it's size. For most folks buying this size they want to be able to tow it with a lighter weight truck. We found the dinette to be very useable and the bed to wonderful you just had to find somewhere to put those darn cushions. Thanks for watching.
