I just noticed you have Dreamer's Pool on your shelf! I'm a fan of Marillier and I know Sevenwaters is her most popular set of works, but personally I think Blackthorn & Grim deserves more love 💜
If you loved Pachinko I highly recommend Against The Loveless World and The Island of Sea Women 👌 the stories are completely different and set in other countries but great for the same reasons as Pachinko
The Will of many is one of my favorite books and amazing cover and very extraordinary 🥀📙📚📖📖📙🥀🥀📙📚💜🌞💛💞🌈💞🌷🩵💕💗💓🌼💓🌸🌸💖💖❤️🪻m💚💘🌼💓🌷💞💜🌞💛🩵📖📖📙🥀🍄🩵🌞💜💜🌈💓💖🌸🫶🏻🫶🏻🌼🌼🌷🌷🧡💕🍄🍄
I bounced off Gideon the Ninth first time I read, but it stuck with me for some reason. Second time I read it, i adored Gideon in all her hot bimbo glory, and it's became a favourite
okay so I just discovered a trilogy by Natasha Ngan called "girls of paper and fire" and to be very honest, I was convinced to read it by RF Kuang because she said this series was amazing. I'm now on the last book and it's the absolutely most underrated series EVER. It's asian high fantasy with an insanely cool and original magic system and politics that are exactly intriguing enough without being too complicated to comprehend. It's YA but I would really not say it's actually suitable for the label YA because it's very dark and disturbing and the fact that Kuang praised this book is only well-fitting because it makes me feel like I'm reading the poppy war with A LOT of romance and more YA vibes. But still with the pain, devastation and grief. I highly recommend checking this series out to anyone who likes very dark and heart wrenching fantasy with romance, not a lot of spice but still a lot of graphic content
I did not enjoy Ninth House in any way and couldn't understand how it was so highly rated. Is The Familiar still worth checking out or should I stay away from the author?
Lots of people love her earlier books and then had mixed feelings about Ninth House, so (just going off of that and not having read any of them) I don’t think even fans thing Ninth House was an accurate depiction of the author’s writing. It’s probably worth trying on other book to see if it was a one time dud or if the author just isn’t for you!
Leigh really disappointed by her most recent stance of becoming non-political after being pro-🍉 for so long. Wouldn't recommend buying/promoting her books (pirating is fine I suppose).
regan is the fastest booktuber i know, she gets down, she does not play!
Will of the many is amazing and I can't wait for the second book 🥰

makes my day when my favorite booktuber uploads!! 🥰
It brought a smile to my face to see Secret Society of Irregular Witches in this video. Such a delightful book!

Enjoy seeing your videos, its much easier than reading reviews. You made me interested in reading The Familiar.
Definitely agree with The Expanse Series! I started it because of your recommendation and it has become a favorite of mine 😍
I read the Familiar so fast! I love Leigh Bardugo’s character work, it is perfection
Currently reading The Familiar...it is so-so good so far! However the character's name is Luzia (Lou- zee-a) not Lucia Lou- see-a).
I'm so excited to get to The Familiar!
The will of the many is SO GOOD!

I loved Pachinko. Not sure if I'll give any of the fantasy books a try.
I feel like I’m the only person on earth who didn’t love The Will of the Many 🙁. I ended up DNF’ing it - maybe one day I will pick it up again 🤷🏻♀️
Everybody loves Very Secret Society except for me 😂
Me too🤦♀️Not that I hate it, It was just book version of People pleaser. Like every character was so perfect:-)not for me
Omg same! I hated it! I loved it at first but after the reveal and what the love interest said my feelings towards it completely changed

Reading is so subjective I don't think you'll know the answer to that unless you read it yourself.
