This demo is gorgeous, I can't wait for this to be finished! I have been watching this for years and love the updates and walk-throughs. The one detail I have to point out that I noticed (sorry if its nit-picky, its not intended as such)....that portrait of King George V at 36:56, that was taken in the early 1920s (1923 if memory serves). it should probably be his Official portrait from the time of his assentation to the thrown in May, 1910 or the Coronation in June 1911.

Imagine explaining those in 1912, most born in the 1800s, that we could watch Titanic like this. They never knew what a TV is even! Amazing.

This is absolutely amazing. Every detail has truly been thought out in this creation. I’ve viewed the titanic and Olympic interior pictures since I was little and you guys literally got everything perfect right down to the lighting, texture work and shadows it’s incredible. Every room that was walked into I was saying wow every time. By the way love the titanic adventure out of time Easter eggs. Keep up the good work guys!

This is so haunting and surreal. Can't help but think of all of the people that spent the final moments of their lives here and those who did survive would experience what would most likely be one of the most traumatic experiences of their lives. There's also something ghostly about liminal spaces and there's something about this that's next level when it comes to that.

The attention to detail is so on point and virtually photo realistic. I don't care how much this will cost when it comes out, I'm buying it, it's as close as I'll ever come to being on Titanic :)

This is a glorious example of rich, vibrant, true-to-life colours on UE5. We get so many bland, desaturated demos, I was beginning to fear we'd never see this kind of beauty. When you use natural colours, the results are phenomenal. My only criticism would be the colour of the sky. I call it Powerade blue, because it looks like the artificial colour of an energy drink. It should be a warm blue.

The devs have done such a great job with this. The attention to detail is amazing and beautiful. I've been watching since they started making the game and it never ceases to amaze me on how much work they've put into it. I can't wait for this to be completely finished. It's going to be awesome.

Most of the passengers, if not all, had no modern electricity in their homes, then to be surrounded by it onTitanic must of, been wonderful.

Trying to find your way out of the 3rd class area was giving ME anxiety lol. Now I know how the steerage passengers must have felt trying to get to the upper decks when it was going down!

The smoking room seems to confirm what I've wondered for some time. The entrance from the palm Court to the smoking room was through a push door, not a revolving door as depicted in the film. The revolving door, I believe, was on the Olympic.

10:23 walks right through the revolving door. Notice the rounded enclosure, center pivoting hinge, and brass braces holding the four door leafs together.

I downloaded the update yesterday, and I LOOOOVE the additions vs 1.4.2!! The ocean waves, the sky, the smoke coming out of the funnels, the waving flag at the stern, THE ENGINE ROOM WITH MOVING CRANKSHAFT!!! 🤯 Plus being able to go up into the FREAKIN CROWS NEST!!! 🤯🤯🤯
You all are absolutely amazing at what you do, PLEASE keep it up!! Dying to eventually see 100% of her explorable. One little place I thought would’ve been really cool to check out was Captain Smith’s quarters. Perhaps on the next one. ;)

This is so stunning. I wish there will be an option like in Assassin's Creed, where you can decide between either the gameplay with an exciting character builder and plot (with the sinking) or an explorer mode where you can simply explore the whole ship (with audios and videos about the history like in an museum) like you do in your video ❤
I'm not sure what all the options will be when it's complete, but all those sound really good

Such amazing work. Now a challenge for these creative people. Based on available information and photographs can these folks reconstruct the interior of the SS Atlantic? The SS Atlantic was among the grandest ships of her time. She was also a White Star Ship and in so many ways a forerunner of Titanic crashing into rocks at Lower Prospect, Nova Scotia.
I'm sure after this project they have something in store. Maybe even already working on other things but IDK

Still cant bieleve they (the THG team) managed to render this game in Unreal Engine 5.
From my personal experience I gotta tell that when I first loaded up demos 1 and 2 then the graphics were Nuts. But now comparing the work UG 4 did to the UG 5.
Gosh, this game is developing fast, faster than ever in 9 years since I found out about it.
Hahaha NASA computer. I hear you on all points about the development of game. They have done crazy things since they started. I should have used a mouse and keyboard instead of a controller for the walkthrough though, would have been smoother. Thanks for the comment

Looks great would be crazy to see different gamers have avatars and walking around with 1900s attire. Or to even have a version where this sinks in real-time. (A bit morbid but interesting)

I wake up in the middle of the ocean on a huge luxurious ship. Someone must have given me some weird drugs because I move weird sometimes, not like a human. Wherever I go, I never meet another human being. I'm completely alone. Not even a captain is on board in the middle of the ocean. In a restaurant I see a list of reservations and all the tables are set, but what has become of the staff and the guests? Another uncanny and disturbing fact I'm realizing: I don't see myself in the mirrors or windows I pass.

I can’t wait to see dust particles and rays of light. Even though this is still epic AF; it is so smooth, glossy and shiny everywhere; real life still has subtle flaws in detail up close.
We are almost to a point where it’s perfectly exactly like reality. But go look at the UE4 version from a year ago; 😮HUGE IMPROVEMENT!

I'm sure it will be finished one day. They have to do a lot of research to get it as accurate as possible. I hope they will have it to where every spot on Titanic is accessible.

I downloaded the demo version, it's great, unfortunately you can't get into all the rooms as you can see here in this video, nor on the deck of the Titanic. I hope and wish that the full version will be available soon can't wait.

Hi I recently download on my pc and the program does'nt work ( I extract all the folder ) and when I open the extract version the pc tell me an error message about "directx 12 is not supported on your system" I try to resolve this but it's impossible can someone help me 😫😫😭😭 PS : Im on windows 11 and I try all the tuto and every thing does'nt work... ( sorry for my english I'm french )
I am not 100% sure. Try to get everything in your system updated. GPU, software etc. I hope it works for you

Io ho un PC con una VGA Radeon R9 290 compatibile DirectX12 con sistema operativo Win10; ho fatto tutti gli aggiornamenti di Windows e della Scheda Video più quelli sulle DirectX12 e sul DxDiag è tutto ok ma il Setup di questo Demo 401 2.0 da errore sulle DirectX12, cosa devo fare? Premesso che il Demo 1.4.2 funzionava perfettamente.

From what I can gather, once the ship is finished entirely they are going in a different direction from the original plan. There won’t be a ‘game’ and won’t feature a sinking sequence. I’m not quite sure what is now intended.

Sad fact, Titanic would sink anyways, mostly because of the World War. So probably it would be used as a military/cargo or hospital ship, so it may end same as Britannic.
