The thing I love about this drama is that it is not lust that pulled them together. At the same time, we got really good kissing scenes as well. It had a really good balance and depth and maturity. Even the scene where ShiDe forcefully kisses ShuYi and ShuYi ends up kissing back is so deeply emotional and intimate that despite it being a hot scene, what we actually felt from it was not horniness but the pain and desperation and hurt both of them suffered. This is one of the most beautiful BL dramas I ever watched. I loved both the seasons. I wish they had not spend so much time on the doctor couple in th esecond season and given more screentime to these two to see more of their story. These two have such a burning chemistry!! I loved it!!
This was the kind of show that didn't need to be a certified bl. It didn't need a label. It was just pure love. The second part identified problems but the first part is just pure, innocent love. Just one guy who fell in love with another person because of his goodness, who happened to be a guy. And he was lucky enough since the guy loved him back when he realised just how much the other person loved him. It was just beautiful and definitely one of my all time favourite couples. Why should love need gender? I need more shows like this? This made me cry. (Imma go and cry over some animated series now bye)

Their first kiss (bridge) was the most romantic scene from Season 1. It was a tearjerker also because Shi De didn't know how to react when Shu Yi confess to him. They were perfect but also opposite - one childish and one mature and that made their relationship really good. What I like about the series is how natural the characters were and how they portrayed the kind of relationship that Shu Yi and Shi De were that is also relatable in reality.
Beautiful edit, so well done 👏 I relieved their whole story watching this......one of my favourite couple......loved their chemistry & the growth of their relationship. Even when Zhou Shu Yi supposedly hated Gao Shide you could still feel the deep love between them. I wish we have another season or atleast another BL with this couple
