  • Campaign fishing requires an incredible amount of dedication; how ever long it takes, you have an end goal and the only way you can achieve your goal is maximum effort. Adam Penning is well versed in this aspect of the sport, and loves nothing more than targeting one lake, often, with one specific fish on his mind.
    For the last 18 months, Adam has set his sights on Hope Lake, part of the Grendon complex in Northamptonshire, where we join him for a look back on an incredibly prolific period of angling. With his eyes set firmly on a huge common known as Tyson, which could weigh in excess of 60lb, Adam relays the challenges he faced as well as some seriously impressive carp he caught along the way. In Adam’s opinion, the fish he caught from Grendon are amongst the best he has ever caught, which is some statement and the exact reason why this is a must watch.

    Only 20kg of mixers, that isn’t enough to feed a lake full of birds, try 80kg!! me and a friend done just that then got rewarded with a 51 & a 49+ park lake units.
    You could say it was karma for buying sinking biscuits 🤣

    Can you advise if they will be available

    Hi Adam, you told that in September the bites went to 0. You needed to recalibrate. I had the same on my local lake. Smashed it in spring and by September it all went away. What did you do? Changed baits? Or kept the same bait and changed how you presented it in the swim?

    Not a very nice Man. Asked him for a bit of help if Krill would work on a lake we were both members of. He said, “use any bait and soak it in my mum's juicy because fish love fishy smells”. He could of just ignore me?

    Fishing is luck and nothing else. Every single carp caught on leger could’ve been caught probably even easier on the float. All my pb’s have come on meat n corn waggler 1-3ft from the bank

    • @EricPollarrd
      @EricPollarrd 2 роки тому

      @Neil Hawkins many advantages to leger of course. You can’t watch 3 floats at once, you can smash ya birds arse off in the bivvy etc. But what I won’t listen to for a single nano second is “lEgEr iS bEsT cUz tHeY cAnT sEe tHe LiNe” 🥱

    The joy of carp fishing commercialism. It doesnt matter that adams hookbait was a tiger and red rubber maggots, or that the sticky buckets adam was spombing from prob had tigers,hemp and maggots in them., oh no. All that matters is you connect adams catches with the name sticky, so when you next buy boilees theres every chance they will be sticky boilees. Its a blatant look what i caught film and i bet you new skool lads didnt learn a single thing did you, still i bet you,ll all be stickied up in the near future , so it works doesnt it, and adam got away with just going fishing and talking, a lot. Yeah yeah yeah.
