- Monash: The Outsider Who Ended A War
Sir John Monash GCMG, KCB, VD was a great Australian. In terms of importance to Australian history, he is head and shoulders above the pack for his achievements in defeating tyranny and fighting for democracy.
At our first Alumni Speaker Series for 2013, alumnus and renowned author Roland Perry shared the remarkable life and achievements of the man after whom Monash University was named.
The event included live musical performances arranged and composed by Professor Mary Finsterer of the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music. There was also be readings of Sir John Monash's letters by Dr Felix Nobis (PhD 2012).
