- Ever since I started watching Scandal, Fitz has been one of my favorite TV characters of all time, but he always seems to get so much hate despite his incredible character growth. It's my first video ever, but hopefully there'll be more on the way (with more recent clips from season 7 as well).

The reason why people hated Fitzgerald Grant is because he had all the power in the world but never took advantage never let it consume him. He was considered weak because he wasn't power hungry. He was an entitled rich white man who people thought had things handed to him where everybody else on his team and in his life had to fight hard to get. Mellie, Cyrus, Andrew, Rowan even Jake all resented him because he wasn't willing to sacrifice love and happiness and family for power. Remember in the world of power love is a weakness. He fell in love with a woman who he was having an affair with and so he was willing to step down as president and marry her yet the people on his team have sacrificed love, family and happiness for power. He's a man with flaws and that's not acceptable in this world.

Second that Amen I love Fitz he fell in love with a woman who wasn't his wife and he was willing to give up his presidency for the love of his life Liv but she wanted him to fill out being President with his wife and family and she didn't want to come btw him anymore than she already had none of us are perfect we have flaws and Fitz own up to his but Mellie and Cyrus were so power hungry but Fitz wasn't he was their ticket to stay in The White House and has the power to control people and use to their advance. I miss Fitz and Liv she fought to stay away from him but he was her weakness and she was his their love for one another was on fire smoking hot sizzling they were one no one exist when the two of them where together their love was very rare I want a man like Fitz who loves me with every being in his soul his world his life his everything he can't sleep breathe or anything without Liv being on his mind morning noon and night he was consume with her taking all of her into him he literally shut down if he can't see or hear from her or touch her Lord what a Hell of a man love ya Fitz always

One Minute I love him even more this season, even if my heart is broken for him. He is so in love with Olivia that he is still here when she pushes him away again and again. After last episode I hope he will turn his back on her. He deserves better

Fitz had more patience and love for that heifer Olivia Pope. I never could stand her uppity bougie scandalous-popcorn eating-and wine drinking skank. But I love me some Fitzgerald Thomas Grant. He was the only reason I watched Scandal because I loved the way he romanced a woman. He truly loved a woman. Whether it was Mellie or Olivia. I loved the way Fitz loved a woman.
I got so angry at him for always begging her and all she did was reject him time and time again. It pained me to not see his love accepted and returned in a clear manner. Her perception of his love, the relationship. And how others saw them was so skewed it kept her from seeing and receiving this great love from him. @CherishedGem that is exactly how I felt throughout the whole show. I understand the situation was tough for both of them but not once did she acknowledge that he was a man who was so much In love with her that he couldn’t bear to be apart from her. And it further pained him to not know what she was going to do from one minute to the next.
Miss Scandal.is a television show. How can you hate her like that?
