- Welcome to Vlog 1 of my second cruise ship contract! Hope you guys enjoy!!! For this contract, I will be working as a crewmember on board Quantum of the Seas! I am so excited to be dancing and working on board as a showgirl!
Also I am super stoked to vlog these ship life adventures once again! :) I vlogged my last contract on board Spectrum of the Seas but a lot of it took place during the pandemic so this contract should be quite different from those experiences.
To start us off, I figured I would take you through a day in the life. SPend the day with me as we go through shoreside rehearsals. We are currently in Miami, working daily at the rehearsal studios where we are learning the shows we will be performing on board.

Thank you for sharing, Dani! So many of us who cruise never have any idea of how much work performers put in before they ever get on the ship. As a former stage actor myself, I've wondered how long it takes to learn the choreography for multiple shows.
Happy to share some insight! For the newest ship Icon they’ve been rehearsing for 3 months now! But for us on Quantum and most ships it’s an average of 3 weeks of rehearsals :)

Cruise ship staff WOULD be the age of college kids. Recruit from right across the street!
Is it a hotel or a Royal Carribean dorm? And Quantum of the Seas is one of the newer ships. Sweet gig, girl!

I've herd the crew has their own section of the ship that they stay in. Can't go out themselves.
@@michaelrmurphy2734 we have crew area and as entertainment we can also go into guest areas too :)
