Very nice!! I have a 1979 P200E, but mine is white, has a lot of paint chips and scratches, and over 22,000 miles, over 17,000 are mine. It is an original AZ bike, zero rust, and I plan on keeping it for the rest of my life.
Two and a half years later, the scooter now has 1,500 miles. After a proper break-in, the P200E is reliable and entertaining. My wife liked it enough to want her own. We added a 2007 GTV to the garage. The R1200GS is now relegated to weekday duty and long distance adventures. The Vespas roll on weekends. They look good on Route 101 in the San Diego sunshine. La vita Vespa dolce.

Have a 79 P200 that was restored and Jeff and the gang went through it and it runs like a top. Have a '15 primavera also. Primavera is practical but the 79 is just fun.
Just bought an '80 silver P200e with 3,000 orig miles (2 owners) that seems as clean as this and has the pump. I had the identical scoot from '86-96...and was lucky enough to be able to fix one of my 2 biggest m/c regrets.
These vintage Vespa's are so cool! I can't wait to hunt one down in my area and do a restoration. I just recently stumbled on to your guy's channel and I've been watching everything. Thank you guy's for making these awesome and very informative videos.
Hi All My name is Stefan a Im a avid scooterist in Manchester England, I watch all your videos and love the input you guys share with your scooter family, I have just bough one of the early USA models P200e mk 1 also known as the cross over model. some even had the rally engines in them. ok, Mine is a 1979 Model left Genoa in 1980 landed in North Carolina in 1981 she was on the road till 1984 where she snapped a piston ring where she stood inside a temp controlled unit till 2017 where she was Lotted up with a lot of Vintage Motor cycles and landed in England UK. with just 1432 miles and in tottally standard condition I bought her to add to my Gs150 VS5, Ss90, Px200e ,faro Basso, and GTS 300 . I also got the pump and tools. Im just rebuilding the engine. and a little paint work. when i post a video I will email you. once again thanks for all the videos Stefan Manoli

I own this same bike, same paint. Mine is beat to shit and hasn't run in ten years. Hope to have some scratch soon to get someone to get it running well again. I don't care too much about looks. Happy to turn it into a The Who Rat Rod, but would love to scoot around town.

there is no restriction on 125 :)
160 miles in 35 years? that's crazy, I'd be out putting a few more miles on the bike for sure, maybe not too many though, be nice to keep it looking as it does when the bike reaches that 50 years old milestone.

I know that now. Just sold my Lambretta and replaced it with a 1969 Vespa 50 special. I made the right decision.
Its a 100 times better and more beautiful than a lambretta
