Outstanding explanation for making the pineapple block!!! I never thought I would even consider making this block, but you make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing!! 🥰
Dear Fallon, I'm so happy that Brenda from Conquering Mt. Scrap more mentioned your website. I'm enjoying your UA-cam channel very much. This pineapple quilt without paper piecing is nifty neato!
I bought the pineapple template a few years ago and finally tried using it today. I found it very confusing so I searched UA-cam and found your channel and tutorial. So much easier to follow than the template. I downloaded your pattern and am going to start my quilt. At least I didn’t use my good fabric, only scraps to practice the template with!😊 Thank you for the help!
This is awesome. I like simple. Not having to use template or rulers is my kind of block. Have you looked at Tiffany’s pineapple quilt she did in 10/22. It is also very simple and quite easy for beginners. Makes a great one piece
I'll check it out! I know Donna from Handmade by Ying purchased Tiffany’s quilt but I haven’t watched the tutorial yet! It is in my list to view though!
Very pretty! I wonder if a flying geese ruler would help on trimming that first round. I know you wanted "no specialty ruler", but many people are likely to already have one. Thank you fir all the great content! I enjoy your channel.
i purchased a different quilter select pineapple quilt ruler. it makes larger squares with smaller strips. i love the look i am getting BUT not way as easy as the method you demo’d in this video. i really enjoyed the simplistic way you explained for all of us out in lala land. appreciate all you do for us unknowns.
Thank you for another great tutorial. You have a great way of teaching. I have been wanting to make a pineapple quilt but did not want to spend a lot of money for a single use ruler.
Hi Fallon. I am a new fan and love your videos! I've always liked the pineapple quilts but quite frankly was always intimidated by the steps. You really helped clarify the steps so this is definitely a quilt I want to make. Thanks for sharing your talents, creativity and inspiration!
Very lovely block. I made a pineapple quilt this spring and used coloring pages to plan my quilt top and I think it turned out fabulously. I did not use specialty tools and I felt like I had to use lots of brain power to make the blocks. Wish I had had this tutorial to assist me.
Fantastic video! Your directions were very clear! This is a beautiful quilt blockI received my little quilt block numbers and letters! They are extremely well made and the packaging was great, too! I am looking forward to using them!
Today I woke up this morning had a dream of how my late mum(rip) was showing me her pineapple guilt pillow cases and it’s broke my heart how I really wanted to do it, thinking she wants me to pass it on the the next generation of our family. So I can’t afford to get all these tools but wonder if anyone help me with measurements for I may try to’ manually cut a pattern please
Outstanding explanation for making the pineapple block!!! I never thought I would even consider making this block, but you make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing!! 🥰

My pleasure 😊
Thanks for providing a simplified method with no need for special rulers! I’m thinking I’ll make a pillow or two for sure.
Pillows would be so fun!
I have the Pineapple tool, but I wanted a bigger block, so thank you so much for this! I may have to thank the silly UA-cam algorithm, too.
Glad I could help!
I love this block and have tried several ways to make it. It was always too much tedious “stuff”. I love this. Your a genius.
Thank you so much!

love the block but never tried to make it cause so many ways to do it
Yes! There are so many methods!
Amazing.
Thanks!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Beautiful!!!! Thank you for sharing.
thanks for the help
I wonder if the flying geese block lock ruler would work for those initial trims?
That's a good idea! I will try that!
Falon,I am looking for a pattern for a wedding quilt. Any ideas other than a double wedding ring.
Have you considered an Irish Chain Pattern? There are a few different variations out there, but I think it is such a beautiful pattern.
This method is actually less confusing to me than the trim tool!
Trim tools can get so tricky! Thank you for the compliment!
Have you watched Missouri Star Quilting On This Same Pattern ????????????????
I have not!
Can we just do the 45 for cutting? degree
Yes, you don't need to line up all the sides I showed. I just wanted to give options.
Today I woke up this morning had a dream of how my late mum(rip) was showing me her pineapple guilt pillow cases and it’s broke my heart how I really wanted to do it, thinking she wants me to pass it on the the next generation of our family.

Don't know why it won't let me download pdf
I never use a trim tool.
To much waste for me.
I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment.
Totally beautiful Fallon…To hard for me…🦩😊💖I love that you show options for those who can’t afford the bells and whistles 💖
Thank you! 😊.
