In this video I've discussed why some companies prefer Btech over MCA. I've done MCA from VIT Vellore and during the placement process many companies did not allow MCA students. In this video I've tried to explain what could be the possible reason for this.
I am not trying to say that Btech students are better, I am just trying to make a point that it is easier to find desired candidates in a better filtered crowd.

Bhaiya it mean a lot if you try to bring either your seniors or your colleagues who have done MCA and are working for big companies.
UA-cam is full of such videos, may be I'll do such stuff in future but as of now I am expressing myself to give you guys a new perspective.

No, in 99% companies 60% is required. But some companies may ask 70-75%

It varies every year, sometimes they do, sometimes don't. But this is only true for freshers, once you have experience they don't ask for a specific degree. Only relevant work-ex is required.
bro you dont even need mca or b tech degree to work in mca all you need is coding . and as per your question MCA=B.tech cse . dont worry you will get

Well Companies mostly will see your performance and collge in MCA, bsc doesn't matter much.

Mai abhi class 12th (PCM)me hu or mai abhi boards ke preparation kar raha hu magar doo se teen ghante mera time bach jaata hai to mai kya karu... Maine socha hai ki mai future me BCA karu....
To koi cheez btaiye jo mai karu apne extra time me...... Ya phir ek aise video banaaiye jisme aap bataiye ki student ko kya kya karna chahiye jisse future me koi dikkat na aai..

Hi bhaiya am confused between b tech cse and doing bca and mca....i had already applied for bca and got admission in a good college but after that i got my 12th grades and my % was 91% now the problem is that everyone are suggesting me to take b tech and my financial condition is not so great to take b tech..in bangalore b tech cse is costing Around 3.5k lakh...everyone's making me confused abt my decision on taking bca and then doing mca will it be worth will i be able to crack good packages? I am worried about not getting good opportunities in future
It is very personal decision. All I can do is give some perspectives and back them with facts. There are so many variables - time, money, your interest in CS, your abilities to handle pressure and many more. Analyse all the aspects and make a decision then just focus on skill development. Only skills will get you a good career not degree. If you are willing to put in efforts, success is inevitable regardless of your degrees.

Well mtech salary is less than Btech. It is false. Because Mtech gives you more skills which a company offers you in a higher salary.

Is vit good for mca course ?
If you are good with programming, VIT gives you decent opportunities.
I am a class 12 Science student , given that my rank in JEE is not good enough , which would be a better choice : Btech CSE from an average private college or BCA and then MCA from top colleges.
I know MCA from top colleges gives a great package at top product based companies and the syllabus of MCA and BTECH is pretty much the same.
But BCA+MCA also takes 1-2 years extra to complete compared to BTECH and Btech is preferred over MCA , so will I be able to match up with the job level of a top MCA grad in 1-2 years after graduating from an average btech college ?
So in short which would be a better choice given that I develop my skills greatly.

You've already identified the risks involved, now sit down alone think over and over until you come with an answer. Every person has different socio-economic conditions. Make a decision accordingly and start working on your skills. In long run only skills matters not degree.
I have thought about this a lot but couldn't come to a conclusion , could you give me any suggestions on this as per your experience and what you have observed , it would really help.
@@AlgoRhythmsWithAyush It doen't matter if you are btech or MCA, only skills matter. But yes if you are getting a Top tier Btech college and if you can afford the fees, it is worth going. Life will give you even tougher choices to make, this is just a beginning. Make your own decision and stick with it.
@@codevenger Today I got my CBSE 12 results and i have scored the lowest in Maths(60) and it is my additional subject will that cause any problem during Btech admission or MCA entrance exams ?

@@mayankbadala3628 yes you can...Mostly there are direct admissions in BCA so colleges usually take Non science, maths students as well. Many of my friends are from commerce without maths.

Jagran...can't say anything, mere time pr shayd pehla batch tha. Best to VSICS hi hai kanpur m or agar teachers s achi banti hai to attendance ka zyada issue nhi rehta. Best would be to go on linkedin, vha pr vsics k boht log mil jaengy jo NITs m bhi hai... ask them, they will guide better.

Bhaiya bca aur mca ke liye mi notebook 14 i5 10thgen lelu par ram 8gb se upar upgrade nahi hoti kya karu bahaiya please batado
Don't know about mi notebook but i5 10th gen 8gb will do almost everything. android development m thoda slow ho skta depending on the usage. My i5 6th gen 8gb from 2016 worked well till 2020 then I upgraded the RAM to 16 and 256 gb ssd.

I am not the right person to answer this. Studying abroad requires lot of planning, you also get preference depending upon your graduation college. Consult a counsellor.

Honestly some companies may not allow but I know someone jisy 14 Lpa mila tha with 3 years of gap.(Not in VIT)
