Can’t thank you enough for this video!!!💙 been wanting to see something like this!!
Love thrive! My daughter loves the olive pouches on there… such a good snack option! Thanks for the other ideas!
Thanks! Do you ever make your own batches of homemade snacks? Like granola bars or dried fruits etc. I’d love a video on that if you do!
Id love to see more “what my kids ate in a day” videos, especially on an errands day! My kids are 14, 2.5 and 3 months and my brain is fried at this stage 🫠
This video is so timely! Thank you so much!!!!
We use thrive also and my kids much prefer the snack mates meat sticks from The New Primal! My 6 year old loves the pizza flavor! Thanks for this list, as a fellow RD and mom, I appreciate this!!
Thank you, Becca! This was so helpful! If you're looking for an idea for another video, I could really use help with healthy lunches for kids;)
Loved this, super super helpful! Thanks for sharing
These are great snack ideas! Thank you for sharing😊❤️
Love this! Would love to see another 10 items that are not individually packaged. I find packaged items are a little expensive to eat at home and we save them for out on the go. I struggle more with the snacks at home.
I really recommend oat balls. We use a mixture of oats, nut butter, maple syrup, and seeds. We make a big batch and store them in the freezer until they get eaten up (a few weeks at a time) and then make a new batch. Search for oat ball or energy balls and you’ll see plenty of recipes for inspiration and could of course include cinnamon, mini chocolate chips, vanilla, etc. but the idea stays the same with how versatile they are to make together with your kids (mix and roll) and keep in the freezer.
Thank you for this video! My kids love snacks and I feel like we don’t have many healthy options. I personally feel it’s hard to find low sugar snacks. So many kids snacks are high in sugar!!
Great video! I wanna get some beef stick for my little guy. He loves the skout bars!
Thanks so much for this, loved it! Would you do a video on raw milk?
That’s it bars and chia pouches are our go-tos. Always in the house, diaper bag, car etc
I just signed up and ordered some kid snacks!! I find healthy snacks at Costco sometimes too.
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!
Thank u for sharing
This is such an amazing video if only you not based in South Africa cause we have none of the above in our stores🙄 I can't even think of alternatives but love the concept 😊
Did you say you have these written out somewhere? I can’t find that. My daughter loves those chia pouches.
Thank you!!!
Great Idea
I was so excited about the Soley gummies from Whole Foods lol and my kids HATED them and I tried and they were awful!! Lol the leather is good though!
Are these all from Thrive or are they available at other stores?
Great video. But didn’t by the products as the thrive website asks for a membership fee. Are their similar products elsewhere?
Hi Becca, hope all is well! Was curious to as if you still offer meal plan services, as I am seeking professional help in mapping out a more nutritious diet. I’m assuming not, but if so please let me know!
How do you feel about the natural flavoring in mama chia I always stayed away from them and got the apple sauce due to the flavoring??
looked up the ingredients for mama chia and steered clear too because of the "natural flavors". even organic, I don't trust it if the company chooses not to list what it is, and instead hides it in "natural flavors"!
Natural flavors is basically a cocktail of possibly over 100 ingredients, nothing natural about those.
Nice
As you explore snacks more would you mind making a video on options like this but all nut free? I seem to have a hard time loving nut free snacks that are satiating and more filling. We eat a fair amount of dairy and nuts in our home but all schools in our area are nut free for snack time due to allergies.
The nut free thing has been a hard thing for us as I’ve been navigating my kids starting school a little over a year ago. Here is what I’ve found to be our favorites, and maybe they’ll help you too: seaweed snacks with avocado oil (the gimme brand makes slim packs,) the oatmeal chocolate chip go macro bars (blue box,) skout bars, good and gather brand organic fruit strips, and made good granola balls.
What do you think of grain free? Even brown rice and chickpea pasta the groups I follow on Instagram are like no no and I’m like say what?!
...you whet my appetite
🍔 🥐
I commented on Instagram the other day for kid friendly meals. Didn’t even think of snacks! So thankful for this! Thank you!
