Preeeety cool. One of the guys on the FB groups a few months ago bought 2 Factory K100C model trucks with Twin breathers and 12v71s. Found out thru KW they where special order 1 of 98 built. Crazy. I'm getting ready to get an 81 astro myself 8v71. 9spd. wet kit going on soon with a 13spd.

Back in the day, Oneida Motor freight ran day cab Astros with 12V71's pulling 45' doubles up and down the NY state thruway.
That was probably fairly common back then in that area. Until they rusted away haha
