Should you run the Air Raid Offense? That’s a question I get all the time from high school and middle school football coaches.
So in today’s video, I’m going to go over who SHOULD NOT run the Air Raid Offense…
...and who SHOULD run the Air Raid Offense.

Today on offensive breakdown, I break down NFL schemes that get covered by the likes of QB School and Brett Kollmann. That’s right, the spread offensive breakdown is seen in NFL offenses and are covered by the QB School and Brett Kollmann
Not NFL Offense, But brett kollmann breaks down NFL game film and offensives. This QB School like offensive breakdown goes deep into the NFL spread concepts and how high school football can use NFL style plays covered by brett kollmann and QB School
Do you know many coaches that run the air raid in Minnesota & Wisconsin or other upper Midwest states that play in sub 40-30 degrees for the tail end of the season. Our prep football season ends with the prep bowl at US Bank Stadium around thanksgiving. The quarterfinals of the state tournaments in each class are played outdoors in the semi finals and championship games are played indoors at the stadium so there are outdoor games until the middle of February where the temperatures could be in the 20s or 30s. What do you know about teens that run the air raid and how they adjust playing in those type of conditions and possibly snow?
Fair points. Coach keeping it real.
I always strive to do that
Our school has some good athletes that excel at being RBs on offense and DB/S on defense. If they're athletic enough and coachable enough, would it be possible to run the air raid with them?
I’m looking for a play called captain America double screen. Think I saw it on your channel.
It was a one word play. You can come up with your own play and name it Captain America
Thanks
Good way to go 3 and out
Honestly If you’re outsized up front and can’t run the ball at all and lack star power..You’re better off using the air raid spreading out the defense and getting it out quick wether it’s quick slants or checking it down to a running back... Better then running into a wall every single play..
I need you coach. Our offense is getting too many flags
I think it would be a great topic and I KNOW you have solutions
What kind of flags?

it would be cool to see a video where its a if/then on what you should run for offensive scheme. 'Do you have 3 fast kids who can't catch and a small o line? Then the tex bone might be for you' etc
Great idea coach. I’ll put that in the To Make pile!
@@CoachMcKie for the algo
You got it baby!!!
I saw the title and thought "Oh no Coach McKie has made a heel turn"
haha you got to keep them on their toes.
Vrabel should hire you
Ha not at all
I appreciate this video we're going to run gun wing t 21 and use a TE as our pass catcher if you could make a video of some plays or formations with 2 recievers
Will do. Got a couple of cool videos about that coming up
@@CoachMcKie thank you coach
No problem coach. great suggestion
