Hongjoong and Jongho both hate skinship so they won't even touch others most of the time. Jongho kissing the members on the cheek was really hard for him but his competition spirit is stronger so he did it to win.
As an explanation for the watermelon: Jongho is quite famous for his ability to casualy sing high notes while breaking apples in half with his hands. There are quite some funny videos about it. Thats why he often gets asked to break something (mostly fruits). He is really strong actually with a high grip strength. So this time they were like: try to break a watermelon and Jongho delivered.
