You can tell they only cared about the City game. The Newcastle game was just a barrier between them and Dubai break. Game was lost in 1st leg
Good to know that there some Arsenal fans/commentators who speak cogently and intelligently with nuance. One finds quite a few out there who elide nothing but angry emotional reactions
The angry guys are vastly outnumbered by the reasonable Arsenal commentators... but they're the loudest so the media love their BS narrative as it invites controversy ...unfortunately, the angry guys are the ones who've created our reputation amongst other fans.
@@5-Y-5or they don’t accept failure like you do
You speak like we're still in the Victorian era bruv. ARSENAL time round the corner. Give us ALEXANDER ISAK LEAO & WIRTZ.
@@craigrichardson731 we finished 8th, 2 years on the trot 3 years ago lad.
Wind your neck in.
Yep 3 years ago 👍 now finishing 1st loser 3 years in a row, 5 years with no trophy is embarrassing
Arsenal would be BONKERS not to re-sign Partey for at least another year. Arsenal keep banging on about lack of depth, and with Zubi coming in, Partey offers fantastic depth
Bro😂Zubi😮 are you sure?😅
Can we have a discussion about the fallout in the media after MLS celebration. Cundy insinuating that he could have his legs broken. Certain sky pundits calling it disrespectful.
These same voices in the media laugh and joke about Haaland lobbing a ball at the back on Gabbys head. Sky has compilations of Vardy’s sh*thouse celebrations.
What am I missing here? Why is there this double standard. The media are already killing this young talented English player. You can already see the labels that will be stuck on him if he has a bad game for England in the future.
Is it tribalism, for shock value to get clicks, or is it because he’s a young black man?
To me, they played back-to-back finals. The one against City was a great win to be sure. A lot of emotional energy went into that one. They had achieved a major accomplishment against a tough rival, the reigning league champions and at the Emirates stadium, in front of all of their boisterous fans. It was a night to remember. Then, they went away to face another tough competitor, on their home turf, but starting with a 2 goal deficit. The fans and the emotion were with Newcastle. Effectively, it was like playing a single match, where in the first half, you are playing at home and winning 5-1. Then, you start the second half, away, and the score is suddenly 5-7. The emotion is gone and they probably went in thinking that it just wasn't going to happen. It's like having just won a prize one minute and then losing something valuable the next. The belief evaporated. And of course, Arsenal seem to have a tendency to choke or freeze when it comes to important cup matches. They've been there before and despite hoping they could overcome it, capitulated. Instead of worrying about the outcome, Arteta, and Martin, should have motivated the players to at least put up a good fight and not make it easy for the opposition. The fact that they did not is a worrying sign. It tells me that, as a team, they lack the killer instinct necessary to cross the line and actually win something big. When the going gets tough, they fold too readily. Too bad.
This season we started off different. I even thought we would be invincible. We atarted with 5 tough games but those silly unwarranted red cards did us in. We were doing well even without Oudegaard I just blame us for not having discovered Nwaneri then. He can play Oudegard and Saka role vey well. Now I am told he can be our centre- forward as well.
We may have won 5 - 1 versus city but our boys were knackered. The Wloves game that involved the MLS red card on 25 January 2025 took a lot from us. Ther was Girona on 29 January 2025 not exactly a walkover. The Man City game of 2 February 2025 had always been playing in our boys heads. Haaland's jibes on MLS, Gabriel Malghaes and on Arteta had been so disrespectful there was so much adrenalin at play. Tge Newcastle game when we were suffering withdrawal symptoms even though we knew we had to go in guns blazing away from home. It was such an anti-climax on 5 February 2025.
💯 bro!😂😢
I cannot imagine a world where you are angry at coming 2 nd …. Even to come second you have to win 36-34 games atleast …, so is any one telling me I shouldn’t celebrate 36 or 34 wins ?? You can hunt a title and feel really really positive that Arsenal are in the race . Our very angry fan base need a reality check . Yo u can disagree with a lot of things the manager or the club does , but please don’t let it stall your enjoyment of the journey !
Second place is first place loser. Your mentality is so wrong my friend.
Judging a False 9 by their goals is like judging a fish by how well it climbs trees.
Leave Havertz alone.
Hasssssssssss anyone seen Jamie O'Hara😂😂😂 another trophyless season for spurs
They only need a goal and they are still in it
Bit early mate lol
It’s wild to think, this would be a normal performance from our players vs big teams in big games pre Arteta/at the start of artetas time at Arsenal. Just shows how far we’ve come. Still, was very bad need to fix up.
Can’t slam saliba too much, he has been immense for us. Unfortunately Isak and Gordon were just simply too good yesterday
SALIBA WAS ALSO POOR VS PORTO(1ST & 2ND LEG) AND BAYERN (1ST LEG) .....
Santi Cazorla #19
That Sam guy is way too positive, almost deluded. The Team lost three times against Newcastle, 5 goals conceded and 0 scored. Newcastle is simply superior in direct duels, Arsenal can’t handle them. It has nothing to do with a poor start or damage was done in the first game, it’s like that in every game against Newcastle, they are simply to powerful and too quick. Arsenal doesn’t have any pace in the team
Going with Cazorla on the shirt
Santi on that shirt.........😮😊
Man said martinelli stepped up lol he’s been poor for like 2 years 😂😂😂
5:00 "we can score 2 goals in 20 mins" we haven't scored in last 300 mins against them
I’ve gotta go with Walcott on the bs k if that glorious shirt!!! COYG!!!
Oh, that's Theo's jersey!!! I'll take it!!!
We NEED @Talia Lazarus & @Abbi Summers to step in to the Arsenal mens team and bang some goals in for Arsenal 😂😂😅😅 ⚽
Liverpool not been any good? Interesting.
Why argue with arsenal fans
Odegaard has good technique but as a 10 he's been pretty ineffective.
Santi Cazorla on the shirt
Jordan is the only one who makes any sense
😂😂😂 Your sarcasm is way too subtle dude. Give us a chance
The result further cements how poor the summer window was. None of the 4 players we recruited have improved our team. None of them players are starters. Merino has been underwhelming. Calafiori has been ok. Neto and Sterling have been poor.Arteta doesn't know how to setup against Newcastle .3 games 3 defeats. Wrong tactics , we were moving the ball too slow , the Newcastle defence found it easy to get back in shape. Wrong personnel, for example, Trossard can't play on the wings effectively against physically strong players .Martinelli, on the other wing, lacked game intelligence& guile to beat his man. Havertz was timid and easily bullied off the ball. Odegaard moving & passing in blind alleyways . Partey was slow and cumbersome in possession . Rice lacked composure. Saliba was a shambles, Gabriel and Timber off the pace, Raya jittery. Skelly decent.
Arteta 8
Hi Mark what's your email address?
I miss Aaron Ramsey
Santi Cazorla
IMHO, Odegaard is too inconsistent to be Arsenal captain...Gabriel M. or Rice should be...
That shirt reminds me of Santi Cazorla, so he should be on the back. But I don't wana win it, my last name is all I've got & will never put someone else's on my back. Never, just plain shirt if possible, or give it to charity.
Not Jordan! How's this guy paid to talk about football? Disappointing.
Santi Carzola

TALIA IS SO SULTRY. WOW
Sandro Tonali is the player us Arsenal fans think Declan Rice is.
AdR!!!
Players were tired and played with fatigue
What about when they got beat up there in the league, was they tired then too?
Boo hoo 😢 whose fault is that?
Oooo SANTI CAZORLAAA
Theo Walcott 14
Theo!
SANTI CORZOLA
Trust the process. what process? lead by the dead owners???
All arsenal fans talk bs
Mikel Arteta 8
I am an Arsenal fan and these fans are taking a piss when they are saying they believed it was a long shot lol. Newcastle have been losing at home. We just thrashed city. Why can't we accept the fact that we as a club are genuine Bottlers and crumble under pressure. Until the mentality in this club changes. We will keep crumbling in pressure matches.
No wonder Talia hired by club
If the name at d backof shirt his Arteta, I don't want to see talk less of having it, Fraud manager 😡
I feel it quite funny when Newcastle fans call Arsenal bottlejob.
But Newcastles whole history is one big bottlejob.
I guess its trendy to call Arsenal bottlejob but man know your place in the hierarchy, Sunderland is a bigger club then you
North London bottle jobs😜
@@jamjam2833 you’re just a yo-yo club up and down the divisions for whom getting to the irrelevant Carabao cup which you have never won is like reaching the summit of Everest. Let this sink in it’s 70 years since you won a FA cup and 98 years since you won a League Title you have no shame 🤦🏻♂️
@@kezmankezman758 We dont dwell in history, not watching 1920's football, we are in for the here and now, and right now newcastle slapped arsenal 3 times..
@@kezmankezman758 we’re too good for Arsenal boy, you must’ve been tired when you played us after winning the treble against Man City on Sunday😂🤣
Masterclass vs City and 3 days later a disaster-class vs Newcastle. The lack of consistency is the biggest difference between Arsenal and Liverpool and they have a much deeper squad facilitating this. Once Arsenal can bridge that gap they might win but with no desire from owners its never going to happen.
As usual the excuses they didn't think that they were going to do something after beating Mancity 5 they thought they would do it but as usual the bottlers job doing bottling thing.....Newcastle thank you for humbling the bottlers...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Talia 🤦🏻♂️ pffff
Its funny that "the best midfield 3* lost both ties vs newcastle
Trust the process.. Trust the plastic bottle recycling process ffs. Arteta the two times Charity Shield champions of the world!!!
It's a typical North London club delusion. Gooners do a Spursy but a recycle bottle version!
Keep crying 😂
@@scottking869he is making fun of you muppet 😂😂
ZERO TROPHIES AGAIN FOR YOU THIS SEASON 😂😂
Walcott #14
😂😂😂😂😂😂 absolutely 💩 this lot
This jordan guy is so annoying
Isak is not going to Arsenal. Can you guys salivate over Ollie Watkins instead.
LFC, MU, CFC, MC & their fans take every cup seriously. Arteta & AFC fans looked down on them for years thinking cups were beneath them, until this season I don't get where all this arrogance from AFC fans came from last few seasons. Even European giants RM, FCB, Bayern, Inter take their domestic cups seriously every season.
“We can score two goals in twenty minutes” you couldn’t score one in three games😂😂
We had the chance to Sign Isak and we signed Jesus, LET THAT SINK in!
Every team had the chance to sign isak 😂😂😂 get over it
arteta has to go if he doesn't win anything. He has enough time and money. How more time does or should he get? All teams get negative referring decisions. All teams get injuries. The spate of injuries for most nay all PL clubs this season has been unprecedented. Thse are just trite excuses.
🚨 "STAY HUMBLE EH" AGED LIKE FINE WATER, I thought Arsenal won the league on Sunday when they beat Man City 5-1, the way they celebrated you would think they won the league or something, THEY ADOPTED, MUHAMMAD ALLIED, LARA CROFTED, PIMP SLAPPED,
LMAO - being rattled by Arsenal to the extent you would cuck for other clubs is some next-level embarrassment 💀
Newcastle 2-1 Spurs
Newcastle 1-0 Arsenal
Spurs 1-2 Newcastle
Arsenal 0-2 Newcastle
Newcastle 2-0 Arsenal
What colour is North London??? Hahahahahahahaha
How deceptive to only take results from this season whilst not acknowledging that we have beaten you plenty of times and historically we have a better head to head against you. North London is Red and always will be 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@kezmankezman758 you got me. I deceptively cherry picked every single match we have played this season - being the most recent and relevant in record.
@@falconarrow If it is your argument that Newcastle have been better than Arsenal this season in their thus far head to heads you are being disingenuous as you are well aware that the proposition is so loaded that you can not be argued against. Surely you would be perceived to be more of a proper football fan if you had been able to argue that historically Newcastle have always had the bragging rights over Arsenal when you and I both know that like a yo-yo club Newcastle have been up and down the divisions many times and have only 11 Cups and one Shield in their cabinet. Arsenal have never played in a lower division and have 32 cups and 17 Shields. One more point the Arsenal fanbase worldwide is absolutely massive you can not say that about Newcastle. If you are a reasonable person you would be considered a man of honour if you were to agree with all reasonable people that Arsenal are a far superior club than you lead others to believe ✌🏼🙏🏼
