By far my favorite channel sir. You need to offer a trapping guide service. Would be there in a heartbeat to follow you in the field and with processing. Again, well done.
Nice to see a bit of winter left! We’ve got more snow here in N Wisconsin in last 2 weeks then we’ve had all winter! Thank you for sharing your amazing landscape and way of life!
great videos. thanks for taking the time to show how you make the sets. it really helps new trappers like me. look forward to catching up on your channel
Love the channel all the way from Boston. I went out wolf trapping a few years ago up by nordegg. Lots of respect for all you share and teach. Thank you.
I have been watching for years , always great videos. Your rebar ice chisel what are the dimensions and what size rebar did you use?. I took your advice and bought a Skandic Swt 900 ace awesome sled. Thanks!
Good video. Wish we had wood like that. I don't know what's up with BC Trapper, Jason Roberts. He is taking a low profile lately. I hope he is well also.
Great job on the beavers!! So on the two sided table, what if the hides are the same size? Or did you offset the circles drawn on each side?? You’re and animal with that wood!!! I’m sure you have a legitimate log splitter too!!
Thanks Scott! You know I've never encountered that issue but I suppose it could happen if two Beaver were the exact same size, odds a very slim but yes I guess you could off set them a little.
Have ever your hand/leg got stuck in beaver traps or any other? How do you free yourself then? Love your videos! Best wishes and happy Easter from Eastern Europe!
Oh a few times and remember all of them! I always keep an alternative plan in my back pocket for those situations, either a rope or setters close by. they sure hurt, but one gets smarter every pinch! Thanks Thunderis!
Do you eat the beaver meat? I've heard it's very tasty and good for you. I'd like to try it someday. How bout the fleshing scraps...do you use them for bait or anything or just throw them away? Thanks for sharing this.
I have eaten Beaver, was very good, but some other times not so great, all depends on the preparation I suppose. I keep all the scraps for next season's trapping and making lures. Thanks for watching!
Thanks buddy great catch on the beaver 🦫 👍 and its been a long time since i stretched a beaver 😂 on the boad i would help my uncle about 40 years ago. Can't believe the weather we got some cold last week but that was it in Northern Ontario
@whatido3021 yes I hear you it's been a crappie winter and know it's just dragging on we have a weather advisory for the next 3 day's lots of wind, rain and snow 😢
By far my favorite channel sir. You need to offer a trapping guide service. Would be there in a heartbeat to follow you in the field and with processing. Again, well done.
Thanks David! Many have all kids of tricks, always interesting to see how someone else is doing things.
Really enjoyed watching you work the hide from skinning to fleshing to tacking to board
Glad you enjoyed Matthew!
A “little” firewood he says!!!😂❤

Great video man! I was wondering about 580 and BT trapper also. Hope they’re doing ok. Keep up the great work, love the channel 👍🏻
Thanks Elton!
So many tricks of the trade!!
Everyone has some tricks up their sleeve, I will never know all of them! Thanks!
I have been watching for years , always great videos. Your rebar ice chisel what are the dimensions and what size rebar did you use?. I took your advice and bought a Skandic Swt 900 ace awesome sled. Thanks!
Thanks Daniel! Those Skandics are sure nice, my chisel is made of 5/8" rebar and 5' long, nothing fancy by all. means but it works!
Good video. Wish we had wood like that. I don't know what's up with BC Trapper, Jason Roberts. He is taking a low profile lately. I hope he is well also.
Thanks Reginald, same thoughts here.
I just found your channel and really enjoy it. What Province are you in and where about.
I am in Alberta around the Swan Hills area, thanks for watching!
incredible 👊 you cut some wood! i myself would probably be crippled for 3 days if i did all of that myself
Was a good load, figured I'd make it worthwhile with the price of gas now days!
Great job on the beavers!! So on the two sided table, what if the hides are the same size? Or did you offset the circles drawn on each side?? You’re and animal with that wood!!! I’m sure you have a legitimate log splitter too!!

Nice to see some tips for Finnish beawers.
Thanks!

Hey Mr. What I do, love the vids.
Great video! Keep up the good work!
Thanks Justin!
Nice beavers! Belisle 330 your favorite trap or do you prefer other brand?
Belisle is my trap of choice, just the safeties are a top selling point, and the dog on the trap reduces fur damage. Thanks Buckyy!
You're welcome. Keep up the good work!
Howler said he got kinda tired of filming I chatted with him the other day
I was texting with him last fall, said the same thing. Always enjoyed his video’s as well. Interesting man too!
Thanks! Glad to hear he's ok, Great knowledgable trapper!
What part of AB are you in?
I am up in the Swan Hills area.
that ice looks a little sketchy I hope you're wearing your PFD
Over the years I've been wet a few times, but now I tend to use my history as a lesson and avoid them situations as best I can! Thanks!
@@whatido3021 Just be careful my friend.
You bet!
👍
Thanks buddy great catch on the beaver 🦫 👍 and its been a long time since i stretched a beaver 😂 on the boad i would help my uncle about 40 years ago. Can't believe the weather we got some cold last week but that was it in Northern Ontario
Thanks Rackman, at this point I'd just rather winter go away so I can get on with open water trapping.
@whatido3021 yes I hear you it's been a crappie winter and know it's just dragging on we have a weather advisory for the next 3 day's lots of wind, rain and snow 😢
