Why not interrogate the on board diagnostics first with the passing switch on start up ?
Sorry I'm a bit late with this, I don't know how I missed it at the time........

Loving the Channel Dave good sound content, very dry sense of humour too, what’s not to like.

As an Aprilia owner I would like to congratulate you on the bike. Now, should I send some matches?

Great Video, I have a Red 06 Tuono so looking forward to this series. My biggest worry is when the stator burns itself out because they fitted a 500w rotor instead of a 370w on later models.

In the U.S. we have marine gas (no ethanol) and it's high test. Use in all our lawnmowers and motor cycles, does not attck the aluminum carbs and doesn't attract water. There's a bunch of UA-cam vidio on how to remove ethanol from gas if you are too far from a source of marine fuel.
I liked the DUCATI vidio but I'm going to one up you I got my DUCATI for free! Guy wanted it gone, was tired of the oil leaks. I haven't started work on it yet. It does start on brake cleaner, has a bad fuel pump and a few other issue's but I can repair them and the price was right. Keep up the good work, I enjoy yoyr informative vidios. Cheers!

A free ducati, you lucky man!
Our Super unleaded fuel is mostly ethanol free and I've seen the kits for removing it. The other bonus being our Super unleaded is up to 99 octane :)

Beautiful Machine! I rode one of these (albeit the base model with the axial calipers) last year, and while it handles superbly the power seemed to be a bit underwhelming (compared to a sv1000 I had at the time). Maybe it was down on power for some reason?

Great bikes these, when they're working of course. rsvr.net and AP Workshops are very knowledgeable should it help with diagnosis.

Great purchase mate. I’d love an Aprilia, still hold their value here in Australia sadly. Plus I don’t think they have the same level of parts availability that Ducati has.

You'll have to wait and see... but very rare for an ECU to go wrong that badly

A mate of mine runs Aprilia Tech (see fb), so getting the technical bits is no bother. Thanks
