I appreciate free-to-play games and see purchasing in-game content as a way to support the developers and express my enjoyment. However, I prefer not to buy everything, including some of the more grind-heavy items, because I enjoy investing my time in the game. I'll continue to purchase skins as long as the game treats the community well, but I'll grind for everything else.

What I’ve noticed is that there are indeed some FTP games with a nasty paywall, like when the grind is made so unbalanced to force you to pay *COUGH COUGH LOST ARK*, but then I’ve seen people get a bad attitude from games like that to the point where they think every grind is unbalanced and start yelling it’s P2W. I will be the first to call this game out if the grind is made for you to swipe, but if it’s just your standard grind (which many people have forgotten what that is and just complain about simply because you can buy things), I’m going to be calling you lazy pricks out.
And nexon effectively shutting down like 99% of their games, their known for making short life span games putting all the hyped stuff in marketing as an ultra hybrid between 4 others games and then their just milking whales. And why does everyone thinks "getting free stuff makes the game better" that's such a misconception cause we need to put it in relation to other similar games and the time it takes to get those. Also stuff like is the farmable stuff in the shop too? Why farm hours when other people are just going to buy that?. But alone the studio is a huge red flag
Simple you dont want to spend money than dont, all the descendants and weapons, pretty much everything that isnt cosmetics will be farmable, the cash shop is there as a choice, its a way for them to make money when they are not charging for the game itself

Not too bad for a free to play game. One strategy is pay what you think the games worth. $10? $20? $40? $70? Then buy that at the start, use the currency to get what you want or hold it until you know what you want. Then consider it as if you bought the game and grind from there. Then just get the cosmetics you want later down the road if you end up playing for a long time

Battlepass is quite cool. Like challenges. That is one thing I sometimes buy. But as for now, every weapon, modules and stuff can be obtained in the game, which is nice. If they change that, I think this game will not survive. I do not know how they will be implementing pvp if they will do that later on. If they introduce forced pvp for example, then this game will be a P2W

This game is a scam and people should stop comparing in-game currency to real money. You dont get "6 dollars back" you get pixels and devs can draw as many of these pixels as they wish, considering the game doesnt have trading this is an even more worthless in-game currency than Platinum from Warframe. This is a predatory pricing policy straight from a mobile game and considering the rest of the game is super lacking in almost every other aspect (lore, character design, level design, enemy AI, animations, UI!!!!sound...) if u had any doubts about this game while trying it out I suggest: just don't waste ur time and money at all, or at least wait it out. P.S. Everything about this game feels like a combination of derrivatives of other games, except done worse and with significantly less depth. The caracters are super corny, and the skins were created for hopeless coomers, considering how boring these characters are - they're mannequins which you can dress up into a school girl or a maid or an oversized dinosaur pajama, which in turn also gives us a sad insight into the world of east Asian beauty standards. It's a pve... why are people always complaining. Most people have a life. We have a special perk called disposable income. No complaint when being helped but complain when they can't get their money up themselves. Immature and ignorant mindset.
It will probably be similar to Warframe where these and weapon slots are one of the few things you must buy with Caliber. Can always hold out for a player trading economy to earn Caliber for free then just max them out.
They will implement the trading system sometime after the official release. Whether we can trade caliber has not been clarified yet, but it will most likely be an option since they seem to listen to players.
To be honest...I dont even mind the shop.. its Modules that annoy me. That was my biggest issue with warframe... once modules started becoming a necessity.... the game became a drag. Also you mentioned that you hoped the game would grow an economy.. i disagree with you here. another aspect that I hated in warframe.. the constant spamming in chat.. drove me nuts. I just want to join up with my buddy.. hit the queue button and get a couple randoms to finish out the team and play the game.. not interested in all this min maxing nonsense.

The weapon seem so mid and nothing special. Same for enemies. Also I hated how empty the world was and the only time you saw enemies was when you activated the quest to make the enemies spawn. Just was not organic at all.
You can farm Ultimates in game, they have slightly better stats but they have ultimate only reactors and components
