That is good but yes it can be done now keep in mind not every log will let u do to log tension release but it can be done took me 6munths of set up and adjustment and checking and changing I plan on doing a longer video of full walk through on set up

My Dad had a Lane #2 and we sawed a 20ft log with a sixteenth or less on a 20 ft log. if it was off by a sixteenth we adjusted to bring it into specks.

I try to watch the log sometimes it's tension release but if not thin yea I try keep mine less than a 1/16
