Hi everyone! We're diving deep into talking about finding purpose in the video. There’s been a shift in me lately where I’ve been thinking a lot about the next chapter of my life. As I’m living in my early 40s, I’m starting to think deeply about the future, what it holds for me, what I want my future to look like, and what legacy I want to leave behind when my time comes. you're so relatable (to me) feels like a lot of what's going on with you is what im experiencing as well... it brings me solace to see someone else's prospective and how they're dealing with it
I think when we die .. the energy that our bodies once held goes back to the earth whether its giving life to plants or the molecules in the ocean .. absorption of the sun ... I like to believe that our energy helps power the universe in a way we can never comprehend
It’s interesting how consciousness works. Once we are aware of something like purpose, we begin to see the signs that were there but now we are ready to see them. If you have 10-15 minutes, I enjoy the podcast (also there’s a YT channel), ‘Wake Me Up’. It’s simple meditations but the message helps me unblock myself so thought it might help. Oh and Happy belated Easter, Mikee!!

Such a meaningful video ❤🥹 Purpose has always been a question that my dad used to ask me in anything I would do and he told me it can be ANYTHING. Everything has a purpose, for growth/rest/fun/learning & more! I admit that I only truly grew & found the courage to pursue what I love after I lost both my parents. I turned 30 with both of them gone and my grief turned to motivation to live a life I love just as they always wanted me & my siblings to have.
Sadly, I can relate in that it wasn't until my dad passed that time really meant more to me. It wasn't that I wasn't living my life prior but it's just a different more meaningful way of living now. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your parents fairly young but I'm certain they're checking in and are very proud of you. And your dad is right - I didn't touch on this in the video but when I was talking about it, I wasn't necessarily meaning a grand sort of purpose (thought that would be amazing)... it could also be many little things.

As I tended to be overly critical of myself before, he reminded me that not every purpose should always be for something big, in fact if that’s all I focused on it would have made me forget or less grateful of the small wins in life.

I think each person creates their own path or journey in life, so how you live it and what you believe your purpose is or isn't... really comes down to you as an individual. I believe there are different religions and or spiritual beliefs for a reason, we weren't meant to ALL live and die by one "religion or way of life". To each their own and do what makes your soul feel right. That's just my 2 cents.
Totally agree Darcy. I forgot to touch on this in the video but I wanted to also say that purpose can be many little things and doesn't necessarily have to be this grand purpose in life. For example, parents like yourself have a purpose in parenthood but for couples who don't plan to have kids, legacies to pass down... sometimes it can be scary to think... what is all this for? 🥹

I admit that I only truly grew & found the courage to pursue what I love after I lost both my parents. I turned 30 with both of them gone and my grief turned to motivation to live a life I love just as they always wanted me & my siblings to have.
