- This is a performance I gave of the Jacques Casterede "Sonatine for Trombone and Piano" at the University of Texas, Arlington, on June 17th, 2011. My wonderful accompanist is Nataliya Sukhina.
Hope you enjoy!
0:00 Introduction
0:10 Movement I - Allegro Vivo
3:37 Movement II - Andante Sostenuto
8:53 Movement III - Allegro
Those two licks in the first movement...you know the two...if you've ever shed this piece you know those two...played excellently. Well done.
Great composer, amazing players, and I´m happy to say that Castéréde was my teacher in Paris, and even if he left us a year ago, his superb music will remain here for a long time. Congratulations!
Really awesome playing!! It socks when an ad plays like 10 seconds before the end. Boo UA-cam!
How wonderful and professional to acknowledge your collaborative pianist!! 👏
One of the most beautiful performances I could imagine!!! Thank you!
Great music is here! Thank you for uploading!
Bravo Jeremy and Bravo Nataliya !!! The piano part is very difficult !!
Bravo! Jeremy. I play euphonium primarily and performed this on one of college recitals. I thoroughly enjoyed your performance.
Perfect! Your articulation is incredible.
Reminds me of the first movement of dance movements by Philip starke
RIP Casterede.
Such great control.
awesome and fantastic
I enjoyed your performance.
Marvellous.
musica..........bravo fratello..........
so clean
Jeremy Wilson e o melhor representante da escola americana, melhor som, melhor fraseado, quando necessario toca com muita expressividade. Bravo.
GREAT PIANIST
amazing
I had to learn the piano part and perform it with 2 days notice! Not exactly fun! And it seems I missed a lot of the fun in the interpretation (only so much you can get your head round in 2 days...) - Great performance!
Something similar is happening to me now. Did Casterede hate pianists or something??? It is freaking hard to learn!! I'm never playing this again no matter how much the trombonist pays me.
Amazing. that's all you cans say about that. Hope I can get almost as good as you. WOW
Absolutely marvelous playing-really enjoyed it. (If you play alto trombone, I'd love you to play my Sonata-you can hear Kenneth Thompkins' recording of it)
Who would dislike this? I mean, come on people
The pianists who have to study this and are not even close to this level? T__T
