mine is an 07 yukon denali, well maintained, good tires, and gotba solid 6.2 seconds 0-60! 175k miles with the original motor and transmission and still going strong 💪and its pretty luxurious which i really like
When these came out, I thought the interior looked too cheap compared to other vehicles in the same price range and category. But looking at it in the eyes of 2022, the interior looks classy yet elegant. Future classic
I loved them in 2007 and I still love them today!! I recently rode in a nearly identical XL Denali on a Lyft where I was reminded how great these trucks are.. The mag ride was excellent in Denali and the Escalade. If I can find a clean AWD Denali or Escalade ESV I will snap it up in a heartbeat !!
These older Yukons and Expeditions are the way to go everything out of this generation, just went and went and went until they couldn’t anymore plus that 6.0 sounds lovely
My cars 1988 4 runner Toyota...311000 miles...still on the road clean that's my baby.....2001 Yukon XL 256000.....7 passengers....nice and clean... If you take care of them they will last longer. .same thing with you guys take care your self...live is beautiful... God bless you happy new year
I agree but my mom owned 3. She had a 2007 Yukon XL Denali, 2012 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum, and a 2014 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ. They are amazing trucks. I miss all of them. Unfortunately they all got crashed.
I have a love/hate relationship with this SUV. I love the sound, room, and look. Hate the quality. It sounds cheap and it doesn’t sound like something that’ll last you 200,000+ miles.
How does a 6.2 liter vehicle sound cheap? That stock exhaust sounds nice, but so many ways to adjust with aftermarket exhaust. Quality? My only issue is the fake wood look, but all other parts still hold up when maintained and not abused. At 180k with original motor and transmission too. Runs even better with enhancements and maintenance.
$51000, about $68,000 in 2020 Money. If you wanted something fancier than a Tahoe, but something not too expensive and flashy like the Escalade, the GMC Denali is the perfect middle group for you. SUV, but luxurious at an affordable price
Backup cameras in 2007 are definitely rare. My mom just last year threw out her 2007 Honda Pilot (no backup camera) and replaced it with a 2018 BMW X3. Quite an advanced development for that time.
ive had 3 suburbans and a yukon xl from this generation and i loved them all more then the 2015 yukon xl I had, i sold it and boight another 2011 suburban
Fun fact: this car was popular in the abu dhabi's Secret police force, and they are used for prison transportation, and they're also for the bodyguard protection units. However, seeing those Emirati unmarked vehicles are extremely rare to find.
Mine still like new even at 180k miles. Not letting go of my 6.2 non afm engine for a while. Got some other performance goods under the hood. All is clean inside and out with no leaking gaskets or burning oil. However... an oil catch can is pretty necessary to keep oil from entering the intake from the pcv valve. All leather interior periodically conditioned and all plastics intact. Any issues I find are fixed or replaced. Enjoy the vehicle a lot!
@@daniellima2973 No, the 2007 and 2008 Denali comes from the factory without it. Wasn't implemented till 2009, so fortunately don't have to deal with headaches associated with afm/dod. 6.2 and the 5.3 is a solid engine otherwise.
OMG the bike @ 9:30 mark LOL ... 100+ easily. Love my 2012 Yukon SLT. Has the 5.3L not the 6.2 but she has some stage 1 & 2 mods, sounds amazing. Even @ 209k miles (in 2023) still going strong.
I got a 2011 XL WITH THE 6.2 ENGINE I DRIVE IT TO BILOXI MS FROM MEMPHIS TN IT TAKES A TANK GOING DOWN AND A TANK BACK THE MILES IS 210000 STILL RUNS GOOD
I have a 2008 Yukon Denali. My engine just went out at 271,000 miles. I had problems with the lifters, rear main seal was leaking, and the oil pressure was dropping. Probably because of the oil ring that goes bad in the oil pan. My body is still in perfect condition. I already had the transmission rebuilt a year ago. So I am looking for another 6.2 liter engine for it.
i had this car a week ago but sold it ): it got pretty old and the engine was having problems and so was the sensors. it kind of makes sense cause we had it for about 6 years. but now we got the 2019 version and it's so good! it has so much more room and features for baggage and stuff like that. but unfortunately i do miss the sound of it when it turns on. the 2 day we had it my mom turned it on for my big brother to hear and he was like ooOOOOoOh.
I have this exact same year/model with the DVD player. Way to many electronical problems. Ecm can't talk to tcm and 2 body control modules. Have power to all lights but rear left shows power but lights won't work. Had to replace the entire suspention pump and both rear shocks. All the Evap stuff ect.ect.ect...
Thank god manufacturers have finally moved away from putting tan carpet in interiors. I had forgotten how hideous they were and how disgusting they end up looking with use.
At least two warning lights illuminated including the check engine light? Interior plastics that sound like they'll shatter if you touch them with even a modest amount of force? Yep, it's an aging GM product alright. All jokes aside I still love these trucks and their slow but steady disappearance from the roads makes me sad.
i remember when this was the latest generation... those were the days
Ah yes… the Great Recession
.
The Late 2000’s 😌
Now you have the cool new yukon
They still have that luxury feel to them thats what I love about these Yukons
I always loved the throaty idle these things had when I was a kid
Yeah, nowadays literally every car idles at like 900 rpm white these yukons and tahoes always stick around 600
My aunt had one of these trucks it’s great for road trips
That V8 sounds great and powerful
I agree, but i'd prefer the Duramax.
You know the Tahoe/Suburban and the Yukon and the Escalade have the same V8 engine cause they are all part of gm general motors
@@LaineGabriel-j6f The Denali trim and Escalade had a larger 6.2L vs the standard 5.3L that came in suburban/tahoe and regular Yukons.
Nice car, finally reviewing as normal and beatiful as an old Yukon.
فعلا
The next review I would love to see from the channel is 1 for a 2007-2013 Sierra 1500. That would be awesome.
idk the grille and lights aren’t that pretty
@@mr.chocolatehazelnutspread8317 but the plain interior is what i like. Especially for road trips.

It’s crazy that in 2007 you can buy a full-size luxury suv for $51,000. Now you can buy a Toyota Sienna for 50k.
That must be 1 special van for that price.
shit you can buy a Kia sorento for 46k now LOL
I bet in 2040, you will be able to buy a Toyota Yaris for 50k
You realize with inflation that 51k is a little over 75k in today’s dollars so they are still on par as far as pricing.

Love my 2011 Suburban. It has over 200,000 miles on it and still runs like new.

My favorite SUV from General Motors.
