this week I finish the little combed floors we made during tour de fleece's prep and discuss my plan for the remaining days of the tour :)
Don't mind my arm too much, I caught some poison ivy D:
we finish our second skein and start on a long draw sock yarn :D

aah yes the fun of being a spinner with arthritis. i know the pain (literally) though mine is in my feet and treadling in smaller amounts is like physiotherapy for me. hope the drum carder serves you well

On the drumcarder being expensive, my husband and I have this mindset of €1/hour: if you're going to use it more hours than it has cost, it is actually not expensive. And I think this holds true for drumcarders!
And yes, spinning your own dog's fibers is so special. I gave the same answer last year :D
oh that's a great way to look at it :) I'm sure I'll get enough hours throught the years to make it cost about 1$/hour :P

This means that in another 400 hours, I’ll have “earned” my e-spinner back. Given I spin or ply around 2 hours a day right now and more on weekends, in less than a year I’ll be in the clear.
And you’ll bet I’m telling my daughter about it. 😊
