813 Fab Jeep Gladiator Under-seat ARB Twin Compressor (On-Board Air) Mounting Bracket

- Today's video is about our onboard air install in our Jeep Gladiator. Knowing that we have a dire need for being able to air down our tires, but also being able to air them back up, we decided to take the plunge and install an onboard air compressor. We chose the ARB Twin Compressor mounted to the 813 Fabrication & Designs under-seat mounting bracket. We also had to use the Expedition Essentials wiring harness extension since we mounted our compressor inside the cab. In this video I talk all about why we chose this setup and how it works for us.

What suspension/lift/wheel/tire mods have you done to your gladiator so far?
I'm currently running the Mopar 2.5" Lift with the fox steering dampener, on BFG MT KM2 35x12.5x17's. I'm running 4.88 Dana/Spicer gears with an ARB Air locker up front, and I left the rear alone with the LSD. Eventually that will get swapped to an ARB air locker as well. We have the JKS quick disconnect sway bar end links as well. We're in the process of researching which lift we want to switch to. It's time for something in the 3-5" range because we are swapping to 37x12.5x17's in the next couple of weeks, but we also need something that can handle the weight of our gear for when we go overlanding. Also, being that I have an Overland model and not a Rubicon, I don't have the highline fenders. So we need the extra tire clearance. Hopefully that answers everything you were lookin for. @@jeepboyz12 thank you for detailed answer. I don’t even own a Jeep yet, but they gave me loaner Willys for two weeks while my ram is in the shop. Took it to Glennie and put about 100 miles of forest trails on it. Was researching Michigan jeeping and found your channel. I probably will be getting Rubicon Gladiator if finances permit. For now i am just researching what upgrades will be needed in order to go trail riding. Your overlanding setup looks great!

Well I'm sold. I am getting one of these for my air compressor installation. But is there any way to run an airline underneath the vehicle to the back? I'm looking at installing an air tank under the truck bed to run all of the air accessories like swaybar disconnect and airhorn. Because yes airhorn.
Yeah for sure! I had to run my wiring harness for the compressor through one of the floor drain plugs. I don’t see why you couldn’t do the same with an airline as well. Just seal it up once you’ve run it under to the rear. lol, airhorn. That’ll be fun. Thanks for watching!
