𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫: Meet Mushfiq Hasan, an early-stage doctoral researcher in the Division of Machine Elements at Luleå University of Technology in Sweden. Prior to that, he completed his joint master’s degree from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, and the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Hasan's expertise lies in the field of applied tribology and lubrication.
At present, Hasan is fully immersed in his groundbreaking research, which revolves around the tribological optimization of water-based lubrication systems for the next generation of electric vehicle transmissions. His dedication and passion for his work drive him to explore innovative solutions that will shape the future of automotive technology.
Hasan's research interests extend far beyond his primary focus. He has a keen curiosity in various related fields, including Lubricants & Lubrication systems, Gears and Bearings failure analysis, Surface Treatments and Characterization, Maintenance Technology, and Heat and Mass Transfer. His broad knowledge base allows him to approach problems from different angles and find comprehensive solutions.
Since 2018, Hasan has been involved in multiple impactful research projects, showcasing his versatility and adaptability. His contributions have spanned across different collaborative projects with organizations such as Geely Automobile in Sweden, SKF BV in the Netherlands, and TINT Laboratory in Slovenia. Moreover, he also worked as an assistant engineer in the Ghorashal 145MW and Keraniganj 100MW powerplant of Aggreko International Power Project in Bangladesh. These diverse experiences have enriched his understanding of real-world challenges and equipped him with valuable insights into practical applications.
Furthermore, Hasan's exceptional leadership skills have been recognized, as he had the privilege of representing the renowned Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) as the Vice Captain of 'Team Swapnojan' in the prestigious Formula Hybrid Vehicle Competition held in India in 2017. This role not only demonstrated his ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment but also showcased his dedication to teamwork, innovation, and pushing boundaries.
