I'm looking to buy my first guitar and I'm trying to decide which is best for a beginner. My options are:
Yamaha FS80C
Saga SF600GC
Westwood 10 Series
Guitars under 5k (Juárez, Kadence)
I've read many forums and seen yt comments where people recommend choosing a well-known brand like Yamaha for its durability and build quality, which can also offer better resale value when upgrading.
I love the look of the Westwood 10 Series and the sound of the Saga SF600GC, but I'm concerned about their longevity. I'm a 12th grader, I need a guitar that will last 2-3 years, and require minimal maintenance and any kind of issues.
Should I go for the Westwood or Saga, or stick with the safer option, Yamaha? I don't want to spend on looks or slightly better sound that I might not even notice as a beginner. If a guitar under 3k-4k can last 2-3 years and plays well, that would be great, but I'm also open to spending 7-8k for better reliability and playability.
