Since the fibroid is not causing any problem and the woman is asymptomatic,can we not wait and watch and follow up to see any pressure effects or any problem,then we can go for hysterectomy. Hi anirudh... a large fibroid like this will eventually cause problems of compression compaction.. and degeneration. Must remove anything more than 12 cms size. General principle.
