Brilliant snowy, what an accomplishment. There aren’t many people with the ability or the fortitude to complete the Cambrian way, but you are certainly one of them. Loved the series mate.
Magic Snowy, well done mate. A bit of Cambrian fever setting in there on the last stretch🤢🤢😅. No drones, no camping, no walking, no running, keep off the grass. What are they all about🤬 hope they got there wee dog. Great watch. Cheers
Thanks Scot, don't do this don't do that think this don't think that. I mostly don't comply! 😉😁 I'm not sure if they found the dog but they seemed confident they would eventually find him🙂
I was out there a calendar month I think Max so it was the longest backpacking trip yet for me. I was missing the creature comforts of home by the end! 👍🍺🍺🙂
Conwy ❤️ 🏰 what a trail! 👣 really enjoyed this one Snowy, what a treck! We salute you 🤜🤛 He thinks it's all over, it is now! Brilliant, have a great weekend, Ceri and Kat ☕️ 👍 💙 🎉 ❤️
Aww congratulations Snowy! 👏🏻👏🏻 This was tough and I much enjoyed your vlogs documenting all the literal ups and downs. Had a good chuckle along with you also. Love the eye peaking picture at the end. Well done again and I hope those people found their dog 😢 On to the next adventure… 😊🎉
Congratulations Snowy, what an achievment! I've enjoyed following you on this epic adventure, the highs, the lows, the humour and valuable advice. Thanks mate👏👏👍👍
Fantastic set of videos of the Cambrian Way, the best I've seen by far! As a bloke in his late 60's with health and mobility issues I will never be able to do this now, but watching your videos enables me to imagine myself being there with you. Delighted to see that Seb M is one of your patreons, his Cambrian Way was also excellent but he only got as far as Llandovery. I shall end up being scattered on the top of Cadair Idris as this has been my favourite mountain since I was a child
Thank you for the kind words about my videos on the CW it's really appreciated! Cadair Idris is a special place and I was really lucky with the weather on my visit. All the best 🍺
Wow, that final days hiking was a beauty, so many summits and the 3rd highest mountain in all of North Wales! Great views when the cloud broke 🏔🏴👏
Llyn Idwell is beautiful. We woke up on those shores once many moons ago. What a place to start your final day! With you on the camping 🏕 property is theft!
A beautiful place for sure the Llyn. A bit grumpy in the morning and all those signs barking orders set me off! 😂 Calmed down after some coffee and cake at the visitors centre!☕☕🍰🍰
Where do you go from here 🤔Followed you all the way and hands down one of the most epic and impressive hiking expeditions we are ever likely to see, that was trully awesome, not many people would pull this off in my opinion, congratulations and I'm sure your very proud Snowy 👍👍👍
Thanks Ales for the kind words and for watching mate👍🍺🍺 I think the only way to follow CW is to go tackle the whole of the South West Coastal Path nature willing! 🙏🙂🍺🍺
well done snowy - a monstrous undertaking and shown in a way only snowy could tell. nice way to end/ start our year for us - good luck in further exploits - snowy and the PCT maybe - what a thought. well done
Congratulations on such an epic journey. I really enjoyed watching this series. Thanks for posting. Maybe one day I can attempt this myself and see the magnificent scenery?
Oh boy, what a ride! That trail sure makes you pay for every gorgeous vista in full. Well done for persevering and taking us all along! And with only minor damage to your sanity, too! 😉 (We did get the feeling that had the trail continued for much longer, we may have found you barefoot hopping on one leg with a chicken bone embedded in a flowing beard while making stickfigures of everyone at Cicerone Press to hurl off selected ridges. 😂 Long distance hiking can do that to the soul ...)
😄 thanks guys for following along with Mr Drake's fanatical coast to coast of Wales! It felt good to shave all that stuff off my face now I know how a sheep feels after a shearing!🐑😜
Congratulations Snowy! It's certainly a tough walk, but probably the most rewarding of the UK trails for those fit enough to do it. I've thoroughly enjoyed this series of videos, thanks for making them. Now the big question - what is planned for 2023 to top this?!
Really enjoyed this series. The CW has been on my list of walks to do for a number of years. I love the mountains and am lucky that I can explore the Alps and Pyrenees at the moment, but, your videos have inspired me to bring forward my plans to walk it soon. A friend is going to backpack it this year and I know he's excited about it!! So, thank you for the effort of putting the videos together.
Snowy, I'll admit I don't get around to watching all of your vids as much as I would like to but had to watch this one now. Fantastic accomplishment mate! I hope you are mega proud of yourself. I hope to complete this myself and will look back at these vids as guidance.
Massive achievement Snowy well done! It takes a special kind of trail nutter to push on without gas or stream water; don't think I could have done it. The Cambrian Way looks harder than the Cape Wrath Trail.
Thanks for taking us along. I'm planning to do the Cambrian Way next year and your videos have confirmed what a great trail and adventure I have to look forward to. I enjoyed your style, properly immersing yourself into the landscape with the joys and challenges that brings. Total respect for completing it and wild camping all the way. Oh and talking of wild camping 100% behind you on the situation in England and Wales. Its just stupid. How could you get landowners permission for all those sites you used ? Like you could plan it in advance anyway. Its B********s and hopefully soon a change is on the way. I'm gonna check out some of your other trails too. Thanks for sharing. Great series.
Thank you I'm glad my videos were of use! It's comments like yours that make UA-cam worthwhile for me. Yeah hopefully they change the laws and bring them into line with Scotland so we can be "legal" 😁 All the best in your adventures 👍🍺
Awesome, simply fantastic. It took me too long to watch the whole series but I thoroughly enjoyed every episode. I think you camped every night? no BnBs or hostals?? I don't know why that matters to me but it adds a certain something. 20 days, what an achievement. Probably more difficult that the CWT by the looks of it plus wild camping is not a given so there is that to take into account. One day when I'm tough enough like you I will attempt this trail but until then I will watch your Pennine way thing as me and the Map Girl are going to give that a go this summer. I'm also looking forward to find time to watch your SWCP. Too much to watch not enough time Snowy. Maximum respect.
Nice one Tubba, yeah camped every night some campsites but mostly wild camping. Good luck to you and Map Girl on the Pennine Way it's a great trail! Looking forward to watching the videos atb 👍🍺
Excellent videos and truly down to earth and factual, the type I enjoy and make. I’m walking the Cambrian way and like yourself wild-camping with the odd admin stop. Anything you would do different?
Thanks Mike, I would take a water filter and not just water purification tablets on this one. Nothing else really as I have my backpacking kit honed in for my liking now. All the best on your adventures 👍🍺
Just to echo all the comments a fantastic achievement rarely done you must have knees like a rhino. Looks even better on the big tele ,right on to the East Highland way.
Fantastic achievement Snowy to do in one go. Will hopefully restart my CW this year, in bite size sections. Enjoy the KFC and rest those weary legs. ATB Martin
Brilliant snowy, what an accomplishment. There aren’t many people with the ability or the fortitude to complete the Cambrian way, but you are certainly one of them. Loved the series mate.
Thanks Stewart for the kind words! Sorry I thought I had already replied to your comment but it appears I haven't so! 🍺🍺 🙂
Thanks ,I have really enjoyed the series.l have section hiked the trail ,but to complete the entire trail backpacking is something else.

No pathless brambles up to your throat on that, athough much longer it would be like a walk round the block for you 😅lol👍
well done snowy - a monstrous undertaking and shown in a way only snowy could tell. nice way to end/ start our year for us - good luck in further exploits - snowy and the PCT maybe - what a thought. well done

Great hike trail, we have 2 feet of snow so that I miss bare trails. But 12 degrees that sounds too cold 😮
Lots of snow sounds great! ❄️ One day it was summer up there the next day it was winter! Thanks for stopping by all the best!🙂
Congratulations Snowy! It's certainly a tough walk, but probably the most rewarding of the UK trails for those fit enough to do it. I've thoroughly enjoyed this series of videos, thanks for making them. Now the big question - what is planned for 2023 to top this?!
Thanks Mike much appreciated 👍🍺🍺 it has to be the whole of the South West coastal path nature willing! 🙏🌞
That was an incredible walk and series of videos! Thanks for making and sharing. 🙏 Now I'm about to view your SWCP series. Best wishes from Oz. 🇦🇺
