Try running chords - If it’s the ‘d’ key, run D, F# and then A, at different times. It sounds a lot better, and can impress most

Edit: anyone have any tips that I can use as a beginner?
if you’ve never played before play the yellow part by itself first then when your comfortable start learning the left hand with it and if you need too you can slow down the speed of the video so it’s easier :) hope this helps

Definitely start by learning one hand at a time until your comfortable with playing both pieces easily. Then you can slowly add them together. It takes a lot of focus but once you can play it you can adjust whatever you want! I love the creative freedom being a pianist gives you
