In AES, key expansion involves transforming the original cipher key to generate round keys for each encryption round. This process includes byte substitutions, XOR operations, and circular bit shifts. The expanded round keys are crucial for the security and strength of the AES encryption.

If there is code to make it there is code to break it. Just a matter of working it out. I think machine learning program will be the way forward in cracking code and building better encryption. But I think humans will be needed to build the encryption in the end. Machines are dumb without a machine to make them clever.
