Hotpoint does a second final spin

This has only happened 2 or 3 times in the machine's life. I believe this to be a glitch but I'm not sure. Anyone know?
The machine spun to 1000 RPM on the first final spin and it was balanced so I'm not sure why it decided to do another spin.

THE SAmE THING HAPPEND TO MINE it was goina do it 3 times but i cancelled the cycle i am going to try spin again after this wool cycle i put it on
(Edit) it just finishes and spun normally

It does 500 first and the max speed

No, it did 1000 RPM first as normal for Whites. Then it did another 1000 RPM spin.
