Spinelli playing the voice of reason for Carly as Jason would for her is very poetic. The two people who know Jason very well on how he thinks and would respond is good stuff. Side note: Carly is truly ride or die. This is the difference between what we are seeing with Carly and Sam (as the writers destroyed her). Carly is maturing. Yes, she is mad about the situation Jason is in, but with Spinelli's help she's able to process them and understand the gravity of what Jason did for her. Sam on the other hand is acting like a bitter ex who wanted receipts to validate her own insecurity about her feelings and what she wants and she will be the last to know.
Carly has grown and changed, but she still has that impetuous instinct to try and hold down, to take stock and calmly and clearly think and plan. I know that once she sits and thinks this through, her plan can be epic and I hope the writers will give this fully grown, mature woman her due and show her ability to become concise, controlled and calculating to the point where Cates really won't know what hit him. I am with you Carly plan it out and take him down, rely on what you know and who you know.
Its unlikely that they will show her to be the boss we know she is cause they love the dependable Carly so they can rely on it to get the haters antsy but I totally agree with you I mean she's been an active mob wife for so long plus the calculation has been in her from the moment she walked into PC so she should definitely be able to concoct a good plan but let's see what they do from here
I agree 💯!! Like her plan to break Jason out of jail & the hospital basically worked (except for the minor hiccup of Jason going back for Britt & getting shot). This in turn forced Carly to attend the Mob meeting & her declaration as the new Boss. Which is why Jason is in the predicament of protecting her. As someone else pointed out, I wished they let at least one of her ‘crazy plan’ worked out fully & for her to finally save Jason for a change.

Cates is an interesting character. The way he's able to smile in Carlys face while threatening her freedom to Jason is giving WSB vibes. He acts like a spy, not an fbi agent.

In this moment Carly was thinking abt what she wud want for Jason (to be out frm under the fbi), instead of what Jason wud want. But make no mistake she knows that Jason wudnt want her in prison, so thankfully Spinelli was the voice of reason.

I like how the writers did this. Everyone knows that Spinelli doesn’t have a platonic/brotherly love for Maxie, especially since they have a child together. Everyone knows that Spinelli is in love with Maxie and Spixie are a couple. I think that Spinelli realized that Jason was still in love with Carly, when he heard the recording. It was nice that he wanted Carly to say the second part about being moved by how much Jason loves her. I think that he is rooting for Jarly to be a couple. Especially after seeing how happy Jason was at Jarly’s wedding.

I would like to agree but these writers try to satisfy fan bases. They will probably be together as a couple for a few months and then break up (that's what soap writers do). Jason/Carly/Sonny are tremendously popular and all have very strong fan bases. Their pairings don't last. That's why I'm more than satisfied with Jason and Carly being best friends. That really has more longevity to it. ❤
My Jarly is waiting on baited breath for their next 1st kiss😂. They'll prolly make us wait til November sweeps of they don't string us along til Kingdom come.
