Playing Slender was one of the most harrowing experiences of my life. What's really interesting is how the developers use empathy to create the kind of tension Slender can. Most of us can watch and read horror and remain quite detached, however, the way Slender stips down and draws you in; the darkness only penetrated by torchlight, the silence broken by footsteps, somehow makes you ask yourself "What if that was me?" And once you start doing that... you're gone.

Honestly I didn't even watch. I was curious about this game but when I got here I scrolled all the way down, turned the volume down and just listened, edging up a little bit to see a little of what happens lol

There's another versions. If you get 8 pages slender comes, but then you see that is day and there's no slendy. If I remember right in version 9.4 ending was like that, I think someone has maked videos about that ending.
After watching Supernatural, I've learned not to spend too long looking over my shoulder. That's when the baddie usually comes up with the great idea to stand in front of you.
Something I couldn't help but notice: Why is it that when you're in the building, you *still* are making the same noise when walking as when you were outside?
Dude...this is so....disturbing, I mean that's the best horror game I've ever seen, A monster who follows u in the middle of a DARK wood...god it's so scaring

I hoped, when first playing the game/learning about it, that there would be a small scene where you hop back over the fence, get back to your car, bike, house, whatever, and have it like....covered in pages or something. Or have HIM there. I admit, the end is a bit disappointing, but I play it to beat it and the suspense, not for the ending :3
sure have. dunno how to put it really. it's a great indie game, but Amnesia, FEAR, theres a lot of really scary type games out there. The extent of how people are saying this game is scary, it does not match worth me.
How did you know that the note would be on the chair in the bathrooms? I know it can spawn in different places so I'm a little confused. Was it just a lucky guess?
Until you factor in that he seriously won't be able to get you if you ignore him and keep moving. I prefer SCP Containment Breach in my opinion, but Slender isn't a bad game either.
Its so stupid cause you get lost and the slender man is just following you around. I literally stood in one spot for a minute trying to click the stupid page and nothing happened.
