That Favre breakup broke my heart :( I started watching Brett play every game and was a big fan. When he left I (along with most of the GB fans) was devastated! Needless to say, Rodgers has been my boy ever since!
Both Qbs bring different strengths to the game, I always felt Brett Favre was more fun to watch and he had improvisational skills, whereas Rodgers is a better pure passer, but I don't like his game near as much as Favre's but Rodgers has been better where it matters most.
Yeah same, I was a Brett Favre fan too growing up. But now Aaron Rodgers has taken over that role and Packer fans embrace Rodgers more than Brett, which is fine since Rodgers brought them a Super Bowl title.
Alex Rosebrock That was about money Gretzky wanted out he wanted to prove he could win a cup without the Edmonton organization and of course we know what happened there
On Aug. 9, 1988, the Oilers traded Gretzky, along with Marty McSorley and Mike Krushelnyski, to the Los Angeles Kings for Jimmy Carson, Martin Gelinas, $15 million in cash, and the Kings' first-round draft picks in 1989, 1991 and 1993.Oct 8, 2014
There was also a rumor that the NHL gave him some interest in the success of the LA Kings with some back money because they were looking to expand the number of teams in the NHL
Vincent Cuttolo I agree with you 100% but the little piece that was left out was Gretzky was pushing for more money significantly more money he wanted a piece of the team which meant he would’ve found out Edmonton was broke
4:15 Funny thing is 4 years after Lebron declared he was "taking his talents to South Beach", he ended up going back to CLE and bringing a championship to the city in 2016. Of course he already picked up 2 titles in Miami (2012 and 2013), however I feel like he got his vindication once he brought the championship to Cleveland. People in CLE used to hate LeBron, now that they already have a title it's like "Meh, we don't care anymore" Life has a funny way of working things out I guess.
He should have stayed in Cleveland OR go to Houston. LA is not the place for Lebron despite him having a home and working on Space Jam 2 there. LA will ALWAYS be the land of Kobe, Shaq, Kareem, Jerry West, James Worthy etc. Honestly I don't think LA fans will want LeBron there in the future. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if Lebron left after maybe this season or next season. It's not working there. He's not going to do anything significant. This Lakers team is not a playoff bound team.
"You're fired!"
"You haven't hired me yet!"
LMAO
kokorin J. Jonah Jameson personified
Legend has it that Brett Favre is still contemplating one more season with Green Bay.
Four years later, no new news on that.
I actually was more interested in the baseball scores from whenever this was
"I wouldn't even give him the time of day." - Eugene Melnyk, on our fanbase wants.
Lol, Cleveland fans.
LeBron leaves = Burning jerseys, "don't come back"
LeBron returns = Re-buys jerseys, "we love LeBron"
And now that they have an NBA title, people in CLE are like "Thanks LeBron, we're good now". :-)
Considering this comment is only 6 months old you should've included him leaving again because he wants another ring.
"I uhh...I'm not familiar with that name"
I miss old school sports centre
Same. It was WAY better back in the 90s and 2000s
It used to be a highlight show that was great. Then it became a commentary show full of blowhards and sucks.
I'm sorry, but I don't know where 'Souf beach' is..
Ummmmm what?
Can’t blame Cleveland, man got an entire TV special for himself just so he can replay the moment he left Cleveland.
Left to wonder what 1 and 2 were... A quandary that shall haunt me forever
How they don't have Wayne Gretzky on this list is beyond me...
@BosoxnationI972 Didn't Pockington go to jail for something?
That Favre breakup broke my heart :( I started watching Brett play every game and was a big fan. When he left I (along with most of the GB fans) was devastated! Needless to say, Rodgers has been my boy ever since!
? No, I've been a Packers fan since a kid. What are you smoking?
I still don't understand the fair weather comment but OK! Cheers

And less than a year later, Dwight Howard and Orlando happened.
Eugene Melnyk waa so cheesed about paying up that 4.5 mil lmao
What about Gretzky and Edmonton

Vincent Cuttolo That’s a pretty thin skinned reason it was basically about money Edmonton was broke and Gretzky didn’t want to be broke
Vincent Cuttolo I agree with you 100% but the little piece that was left out was Gretzky was pushing for more money significantly more money he wanted a piece of the team which meant he would’ve found out Edmonton was broke
They should've burned LeBron's jersey just for wasting quality tv time with that crappy announcement special.
he raised a lot of money for charity, it was a punk move that did a lot of good
Agreed. Lol, He's a goof
Randall Bryant he eventually went back to Cleveland
@Ulysses432 after bringing them a championship. Maybe if they ever actually provided in the first place he wouldn't have left
Interviewing a caddie,ha.
Lebron leaving Cleveland and everybody was pissed. But, when he came back...........
Clemens had his best ever season with the Blue Jays LMAO
Whoever said ramping up the roid intake later in a career is dangerous, never watched Roger Clemens.
Steroids did wonders for him. He went from being a very average pitcher for the past two years, to a back to back Cy Young award winner

Eugene Melnyk the guy who jumped the donor list and put out an ad to garner public sympathy.
Think Melnyk will ever sell the Sens?
How about Jay and Dan & TSN
Lebron is hard to like
He's probably ok in person. But he's more businessman than basketballer which makes him unlikeable imo.
Canadian SC>>>>American SC
100%, and im american l
American and i 2nd that.
Forrest Trump
Canadian cities dominate their American counterparts in the "livability" ratings, which consider a ton of quality of life factors.
I'm American and can 100% confirm this is true
lost soul and I love it
LeBron fulfilled his promise of bringing a Chip to The Land after returning...

“I didn’t know caddies could give interviews”
I’m sorry and you are, who? 😂
Saved the best for last!
The ‘go back to Canada’ always annoyed me
They're Americans comments like that are on the level of "My daddy could beat up your daddy" in terms of how serious you should take them.
@@Asmov We don't take specifically you seriously.
And then LeBron came back... Only to leave again.

Eric Lindros = the biggest diva in hockey history
oifwarveteran
jagr a close 2nd
I bet you were a fobbit fucking pog
Nah just couldn't make a fucking decision for him self, mommy and daddy made every decision in his career.
Actually that distinction belongs to Sean Avery. Ever heard of "Sloppy Seconds?" yeah he coined that phrase.
Cleveland doesnt deserve Lebron
LeBron brought them a title in 2016. I doubt CLE cares anymore.
Steroids did Roger's body good
Excuse me sir, is that a nose or a banana in your face?
Look fuck! Hockey stop making it seem like a popular sport and stop puttin it so far up the list damn!....
