Had colors done for self, spouse, mother, mother & father in law back years ago. Not only do you look great in your colors, but with the guys it simplifies shopping and dressing. They always look coordinated. Final point, saves money. No more are we buying things that just don’t look right, don’t go with anything else ,and don’t we feel good wearing. If garment just gets pushed back in the closet and not used, total waste of money.. good show
I totally agree! I'm trying to get my guys to get their colors done. It makes shopping (and sewing) so much easier!

Whitney, your enthusiasm is front and center! I love your plans. I have a soft pink Tidal dress on my cutting table. I’m trying to recreate a pink knit dress I had years ago. I loved it so much. Hopefully this will satisfy that need. Have fun sewing!

I’m finishing my second Metra Blazer today(white for summer), and thinking what to do next.guess I will go through my pattern stash and see what I’m lacking. I love how how LN designs to meet trends, sewing has become such a creative outlet.

Had a conversation with a sewing friend yesterday that I really need to sew up the muslin of the Tempo Sundress that I cut out at the end of last summer.

@@TomKatStitchery I actually went back in to order it and saw that I already have it! lol so I ordered the sundress with the shirring back and a top (can't remember which one)! lol There are very few that are left but I know I wouldn't make them for me so I'll wait for new ones to come out!

The tidal dress is the bomb! I made tanks and dresses for both my sister and I for our trip to Mexico this past winter. We are not “easy to fit” bodies and this pattern looks great.
The Tidal is such a flattering on shape on everyone. I love that dress!
I need to try the tidal again. I made one with some fitting adjustments about a year ago. It was not a good fit!! After this class I should be able to do much better with the fit.

Are these the types of patterns you tape together? I’ve never used them, aren’t they a pain to put together and how do you store them?
I just finished Whitney and Jenni's fitting class and used a Love Notions pattern for the first time. That was my choice, not a requirement of the class. I'll be honest, I did not have a good attitude about all of the printing and taping together, etc. But I found out it's not bad at all! At least that's my new attitude anyway. And I have bought many more Love Notions patterns and am considering one or two by Itch to Stitch. Also, you can have them print it out by a copy shop.
Printing and taping can be a bit time consuming, but you can have them printed off. I use PdfPlotting.com to print off my PDF patterns. They are very inexpensive (copy shops like Staples or Office Max charge an arm and a leg) and they ship quickly, and they now print on newsprint paper which is thinner than printer paper. It's a great option!
You also can do projector sewing with them, which is amazing. I do all three at various times.

@@larainelonginetti183 hi there. It is using an inexpensive (relatively speaking) projector to shine the full pattern pieces onto your cutting surface. No printing, cutting, taping or waiting for a company to print and send to you.
