I'm totally confused. How is this a rainscreen? I understand how it's an air and water barrier, but how does this create a gap to allow water to drain out between the sheathing and the siding?
Spray Wrap Rain Screen is for use within a rain screen wall assembly. It is applied to the sheathing but it is the entire wall assembly that creates the gap and allows drainage. @@ProsocoSince1939 Still not following. Why would I use this over MVP? They seem to do the same thing. My assembly would be to use MVP and then use a rolled and stapled rain screen over the MVP.
@@hu5tle- The MVP now comes in two versions, one "Pink" and the other tinted for UV exposure for open rain screen cladding application. It's also the same price.
