I have no problems accepting others. People are what they are. What I have a problem with is finding interest in other people. I am thinking this is a hedonic adaptation issue. I have spent much of my life around exceptional people. In comparison most people hold no interest for me because they have never done anything or even tried to do anything noteworthy .
If you are so inclined I would find it very useful as to how to help my children ( teenagers now) develop a strong sense of self. An overview and perhaps some activities we can do as a family. I find many videos on the definition of sense of self, self help focused on adults but nothing for parents wanting to help their children.
Thank you. Useful and helpful information.
This is just the ticket for today. Thank you.

Hello, are there any other resources you could suggest to read more about this topic?
I think the description he made is closer to a narcissist than to a person with just a low sense of self
actually low or no sense of self is what makes a person narcissist.
