Needs to be restored and protected without question!!! What a amazing, (yet filled with trials) life she must of lead. Id love to know more about her family, did she marry? Kids? Living descendants?
Yes, at one time, she was sent requests to marry from many men and places, including Germany. She married twice and had 3 sons. She had 3 living nieces, but I'm not sure if they're still present. Although her parents were alive they appointed a whiteman namede Porter to handle she money because blacks weren't known to be smart enough to do so. Said the white man.
Sad I wasnt told of her in school or anything. Why don't they renovate her home and do something wonderful with it. If I had the money I'd love to have it. 💝
🤦🏾♂️ Wow 😮 she was right there in the heart of the GHETTO 12st Wayne Miner which was tore down February 28, 1987 (I was 1 year old back then) HORRIFIC 5 Buildings not even the police came to the high rises, also you had TB WATKINS & Parker’s Square all named after black men!!! Miner was a soldier in the war, Charlie Parker was a sax 🎷 in jazz & TB Watkins was a funereal home owner director! This is my family’s neighborhood 1200 KCMO 816 💙 HANDSON LORA MAXWELL 💙
I wish I could buy this house and live in. It honoring her legacy. I mean, I think it’s really fitting that a black woman or a black person in general. Owns it
in 1913 the Oklahoma Legislature made an effort to have her declared white, under the guise of allowing Rector to reap the benefits of her elevated social standing, such as riding in a first class car on the trains.
What happened to her millions. Did the white man truck her out of that land? Bless her memory. I pray the owner restores it. May ut turn out as beautiful as she was. God guide the restoration. In Jesus Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

She had 3 son's and family members.
And they found away to take that from her!!! How come this wasn't taught in U.S. history???
Right I've never heard of her
Whites taught us black history to constantly suppress us! Think about it.
@@TM-ht9qp They don't teach our history. This is why we must Segregate again.
It’s crazy the state buys these monumental historic homes and use them as museums but they don’t want to buy this one?
She became so rich that the Oklahoma state legislature officially declared her a white person.
Sad I wasnt told of her in school or anything. Why don't they renovate her home and do something wonderful with it. If I had the money I'd love to have it. 💝
I know! It would've been nice to learn about her..we were cheated out of alot of true Afro-American history!!!
I kind of hope they preserve it and restore it to its former glory in honor of Sarah’s memory
I hope they bring that house back to its original glory!!!
It should be a National Monument!
Valuable history 💎

I wondered why her family didn't take over the house. Another UA-cam channel said she owned the entire block.
Netflix should make a movie out of this
