Thank you for the react video and your kind words !!! (I met Colin and Beth at the London Fanfest and we talked about it with Colin, he was eager to do it !! He asked me to sing on Close in the Distance specifically. Then I asked Beth later and she was hyped to sing too)
First they hit us with “Hearts Aligned”, then bring in the Twins’ VAs for “Close in the Distance”, and then everyone comes in for “Flow”! That combo should be illegal!😭 You know you’re doing something right with your game’s music when 300 musicians are willing to collab for what is essentially a massive orchestral arrangement of your songs. Fun fact about one of the performers: that Marco Meatball who was one of the “main” singers for the Zodiark section? He’s a professionally trained opera singer who also has a youtube channel where he analyzes video game songs from a classical standpoint. His videos are interesting to watch, even for a non-musician like me. P.S.: I’m glad I’m not the only one who started singing along during the In the Balance section!
Husky by the Geek is insanely awesome for doing this! It takes real talent to be able to coordinate 300+ people and create something truly magical. I did spot more than a few familiar faces. This right here was the perfect way to send off Endwalker on its last day of operation. (6-25-2024) One more day as of this comment, and it'll be time to start boarding the ship to Tural.

This is why i get annoyed when people try and argue the FF14 community isn’t special, which gaming communities come together like this? In my experience only one.
You can clearly see who the professionals are with an education in Music and the ones that were like "f it, I may not have played x instrument in years or ever joined a choir, but I will practice and I will make it awesome and this will be the best thing ever!". The energy of just every participant... I will rewatch this, and never will I not cry.

Fan Fest will always be my example. I felt safe, seen and happy in that group even if I didn't ejoy fan fest itself.
