Is this really the best prebuilt for under $1000? Forbes seems to think so. And Forbes could never be wrong… right?

zach i just wanted to let you know ive spotted a few people with your profile picture and a username similar to yours, going around telling people to message them on telegram. most likely bots but keep an eye out ppl
U now ur so handsome sexy i luv u
Hello,I just got a PC with Rx 6800 non xt ,Ryzen 5600 cpu, stock cooler and 16gb of ram,it is good for gaming at 1440p highest settings?
@@Gaming-with-lin 1080p highest 1440p medium ye but not 1440 high
I bet 90% of your viewers could make a better pc than this prebuilt for $1,000. Bad prebuilts that are overpriced are so annoying.
Bro you could easily get a pc with a used rtx 3080 or atleast 3070ti with a r5 5600x
@@zayd2229agreed I literally just built a new parts system with a Ryzen 5 7600 and then a used 3080 for around this price.
You can build a good pc with a r5 7600 and used RTX 3080 for around $1,100. I can provide a pcpart picker link if you want
Now you could even find some 3090 (used) for 500€!
My current pc I just built which is my first has a 7600x and a 6750xt
True but.. companies are not paying retail for parts, aren't they getting wholesale? So 250 on top of the DIY parts gap should be a lot larger because they are a company.
That's irrelevant for an end consumer that's debating about building their own gaming PC. If you build your own PC, you aren't paying the same prices that bigger companies are paying, so that shouldn't even factor into your decision.
@@ZachsTechTurf Well, what I meant to say was I agreed with you that the pre built wasn't a good deal, to what you can build yourself vs that companies profit margin
I follow another youtuber that does pc repairs and from what ive noticed ibuypower is the brand that needs the most help, mostly from cheap components used in the pc dying later on. Like a cheap m2 ssd or ram.
Do you mean
ThE gReAtEsT tEcHnIcIaN tHaT eVeR lIvEd 😂
*Which UA-camr? I use mainly Aliexpress parts in mine.*
Yea I didn't get a great first impression lol
the greatest technician thats ever lived.
I have pretty much this build with the exact same GPU but I have an R7 3700X and I got it for $540
I bought from ibuypower before and the cooler isn’t argb or rgb it’s the fan blades that are colored. My pc had blue fan blades and it was a 5 dollar cooler from deepcool.
he sounds sus with (that was completely UNSCRIPTED)
Suggestion as I am planning to build a pc relatively soon: please could you make a long form video on psu's and what ones to buy for a budget, because I am struggling to find one even with the list
If you just want to reccomend me one I need about 700 Watts and fully modular
Thanks
Yo on 4:40 its not an RGB cooler, its a blue cooler, I have the iBuypower pc with that cooler and the temps on it are horrible, so definetly one thing to upgrade for that pc is the cooler
hey just wondering on your website why does it say everything's out of stock is that a glitch or did everyone just come by and buy everything
I have a Skytech prebuilt with a 4060ti, 64GB of RAM (I upgraded) and a 12700F. I believe it was 1250 msrp, I can pull 100FPS on COD at 1440P. While I know I probably could have worked a 4070 into the build if I had done it myself, it was easier to just do a prebuilt. Nice cable management and it overall looks good. Should probably last me a long time since I went into the 4000 series.
I recently got a powerspec g516 for about 650 open box and I can say it’s extremely good value and I do not regret it
So buy a powerful mini PC for 300 leaving you 700 for the video card adapter for using an external video card and then you can spend the rest on the video card or a large portion like say grab a 400$ video card, leaving you still another 300. for stuff. I can probably think of a way to turn $500.00 into the same power of a $1000.00. I think if you took that same thousand and scrounged around getting refurbished parts where you can; this, in turn, will allow a large portion of your budget for everything else.
Looking at how much Ibuypower would have paid for the parts the overheads are well overpriced. Could have put it at $800 and still made a good profit.
I wouldn't throw a statement out there like that without seeing their profit/loss sheets. You have no idea what's going on behind the scenes and the actual cost of their overhead
@@ZachsTechTurf thats a good point. However, you only showed prices at retail. Ibuypower are one of the worst for overpricing here in Europe 😞
that cooler is such a joke, it's from 2008
I just built the same system with Gigabyte RTX 3060 TI and it cost $668
I bought a ibuypower prebuilt years ago, never again will >I
i dont know if you have reviewed this pc but can you do a review on the Auxilia i was thinking about getting it
I got a Rtx3070 16Gb I7 10850 16cpu 1TB SSD for around 800dollars on facebook market place not used and all. I'm new to the gaming scene and i would have thought 3070 would perform alot better than it currently is. Would it be possible for you to review it? I bought it from china so thinking i got kinda ripped off.
The 3070 doesn't have 16gb vram... you got scammed bruh.
Sure you could mod it to 16gb but more than likely this hasn't been done, this is an old scam used to be the 1080 that was really a 970 or something in disguise
@@ferocious5975 nono i just have normal 16gb pretty sure the 3070 has 8gb vram.
@@ferocious5975 ??? why would you need 16 gigs of vram? 8 gb is enough considering the 3070 is pretty much a mid range, it wouldnt use all that vram because its not powerful enough.
Hey quick question just wondering what your microphone and mic arm are
Can u do pc builds that above 1000$ once a while
What is the best GPU for Intel i5 3470 and 8gb ram
Answer: don't buy one now it's way too old
prob a gtx 750 ti or rx 480
@@kaddour593 I am looking for something would run 2023 games even if it's low setting
@@jimmyk2798then i highly suggest you upgrade your cpu and ram if you can
If you are unable to upgrade then i suggest buying something like a 1050 ti on the used market
Could you please recommend a build for 7800xt ! Am totally confused 😢
I’m building a pc (better than this one) and a I am wondering if I can just transfer the nvme from my old pc to my new pc, without deleting the data and using the Windows installed on it.
Plz reply, I need answers :(
What would be the best GPU for i5 13600kf

Skytech Shiva 2 is just 60 dollars more expensive but is way better

Hey, Whats the best amd gpu for the price of a gtx 1660 super
Forbes gives worse information than loading screen tips, even worse when it comes to tech.
the real best pcs on zzt builds!
zach what will the
be the best price performance build in the hyte y60 be ?
and with a amd CPU
Raise ur hands folks we are getting robbed. pahahaha
why at 2:53 he says it contradicts itself? plz explain
if you have to dabble (lower graphics) in the settings just to play some AAA games in 1080p means you can't play games in 1440p without it dropping frames like hell

Forbes + IBuyPower is literally the definition of untrustworthy
yeah i've got a 1000$ gaming pc with better specs than this an i512400 a 1tb samsung 970evo and an rx6750xt (all from amazon btw) never trust some rando company to do reviews trust good and honest youtubers😁
wtf is that cpu cooler
something straight outta a windows xp tower
I could watch this whole video…. It’s sad what people are paying for……
well you point out things thats good reasons to not buy prebuilt
Mmmmm!! It looks like one of your builds!! How do they get away with that?? Probably the same way you do!! 😄
Let’s be honest, most of us can make a better prebuilt than theres
Are you giving it away? I didnt get any of your giveaways😅😅😅😅😅😅
Wow
Hi

Am I the 15th comment?
Really Admire your video. You showed the reality of these pre-built companies.
Thanks for watching ;)
I find it insane that I could build a 3060 12GB PC for $600 with used parts that ACTUALLY looks good, compared to this PC. This has to be one of the saddest looking PC's I have ever seen...
For $1000 you could probably get a future proof 6700 xt build, or a 6800/7700 xt build with a 13400f or something
One of the saddest for $1000, yep lol
@@GeneralS1mba One could make a RX 6800 XT based PC with used parts for $1100. You are pretty much spot on.
@ZachsTechTurf, I'm glad you agree, lol. I think I broke the reply, but whatever.
EcoElite Tech is at the top of my list for PC recommendations. The PC I recently purchased is a testament to their build quality, featuring super clean cable management, cool operating temperatures, and quiet fans. Its performance is nothing short of amazing for its price, and the fact that they plant a tree for every PC sold adds an extra layer of appeal in my opinion.
Im looking into building my first pc here soon. I am pretty new to pc gaming. I bought a gaming laptop a year ago and now really have the itch to build a rig, im just nervous about my lack of knowledge with building and pc in general
Watch and watch videos
It's not too hard, just watch plenty of tutorials and guides. And watch from a few different creators.
You can do it just take it step by step, watch a build or two before to get an idea but it's easy. Legos for adults.
First: Good on you!! What has become second nature to a lot of hobbyists, is indeed magic to others. Start by working through some PCParts Picker and sort of get a general feel for what you are up to. When you start building, keep your bench / table clean. There is nothing worse than turning your freshly built PC on, and you hear a pop because a tiny screw was forgotten. Steps before to start is to check the case and does it fit the video card. I am confessing here too that I bought a prebuilt ASUS ROG machine and I upgraded most stuff on the cheap. Yes, I will be upgrading it further around Christmastime. By then, the new Intel CPUs have been out, and I can upgrade to a 13xxx series. But to what Zach is saying, consult with him, it is the best time and money spent.
free advice, once you get it done and its posted and works, don't tinker too much. i loved to tinker but i messed around with the BIOS and messed my first build up drastically. tinker with everything, except that BIOS. if it dont need an update, leave that pretty thing alone lol.
Hardware Unboxed also recently talked about the PC they would currently build for $1000 and they even managed to go with a ryzen 7600 on the newer AM5 platform for upgrade options down the line while still fitting a RX 6800 into the budget, if you are willing to take some compromises like a 512GB SSD or spend a few dollars over the arbitrary $1000 mark.
I am buying your All in One pc for Christmas, is it a good pc? could you tell me a bit about it? luv your vids!! ❤
In finland there is a company called pcspecialist that sells prebuilts in the 1000$ range which have parts like i5 12400f and 4060ti in the same pc and the looks are nice too.
Hey Zach which site should i use to buy pc components in Europe? More specifically portugal.
with 1k you could make a waayyy better custom with a rx 7600 and i5 13400f...
Is this good for $ 999?
Intel i7 13700F Processor Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060
32GB DDR4 Memory 12GB Graphics Card
1TB solid state Drive 802.11 ac Wireless
Includes KB + Mouse
Pre builts from companies are so bad😂
I have a build with a 5600x, an rx 6600, 32 gigs of ram, and 1 tb of storage that cost me in total $740. I don't know how this build is so bad.
You should start a series with a funny name on reviewing and critiquing prebuilt pcs
Would consider it lol
Im pretty sure the “rgb cooler” you showed on bestbuy’s product listing is the deepcool theta 20 pwm.
Not the one that arrived lol!
Within a week

iBuyPower has better higher end pre built pcs than lower end
Says who lol?
@@ZachsTechTurf their $2000 something prebuilts are more reasonable then their budget ish builds but I can say my word choice was wayy to lenient I can’t lie 💀💀💀

My New Build that cost me $675. Lenovo P520, Intel Xeon W-2135, RX 6700 XT, 64GB (16GB x 4) DDR4 2666 mhz quad channel ECC RAM, 1TB WD Black SN770, 900W PSU. I even had enough left over to get a high speed (1300mbs) WiFi dongle and a 27" 1440p monitor. The only used parts were the GPU and obviously the Lenovo P520.
That's funny because I'm buying nearly the exact same part but with a 5600g, 1tb and a corsiar 750w psu and my price came out to nearly about ~£650 I know currencies are different but I did use a more expensive mobo even though I was working with a tight budget and 2 websites only (dont trust amazon and ebay) I still made a slighty better pc for cheaper
the "acutal" rgb cooler is just an old deepcool cooler with a blue fan. when i got a prebuilt it had the same thing
Thinking about my new build and the casing. How would a mini refrigerator work? Say I found one that's like 20x20, built a top and bottom bracket to hold the motherboard, no fans except a cpu cooler, get a clear door with something like a mesh front built into it., Something to block the top from condesating down on the motherboard would be needed to. I feel like I missing something, maybe fridges don't get cold enough? Too cold, water from condensation a problem?
Yes this a high thought, but a cool one. Get it. My bad, I'm going to bed now.
Basically Homeless made a video aabot making a pc in a mini fridge.
@@josephapoian3280 awesome thanks 🙏
edit: just watched the video, that takes a lot more than i thought it would to be able to run a system. the heat is no joke. it cost more to create the case than it would to buy a 4090 lol that was still an awesome build.
After watching about 20+ videos to confirm my suspicions after seeing a youtube shorts video from this channel, I can safely say to anyone reading this comment, go anywhere else for tech information and tech tips. This dude despite ragging on and criticizing companies throws out straight misinformation constantly as if he is a authority. PBO (precision boost overdrive), boost your cpu clocks as long as you are below 95-99celcius to bring you up to that temp range and then downclocks when too hot. Thats the "PRECISION" part of PBO, it boosts to a precise target temperature giving you extra performance if youre ever below that temperature. My AMD CPU have been runing at 98-99C for months and is good as new what do you mean 90c+ is too warm???The cpus are literally buildt to be that warm with this as a feature, NOT enabling PBO even on a stock cooler leaves performance on the table at 0 risk of component dmg so YES there is a reason to activate it and no its not bad for a cpu buildt to run at 95-100celcius to run at 90C+ I thought this was a tech channel? Also who in their right mind even mentions the 7700xt? When for only 50dollars more you get the 7800xt at over 20% more performance with 4more GB of vram, the 7700xt pricing makes zero sense in comparison and it makes even LESS sense buying it.... if your budget is too tight then I recommend saving up for a bit longer for 50 dollar more. There is a reason the 7800xt is borderline sold out, while 7700xt is not selling at all. Misinformation and awful advice all around.
This pc gets way better for than mine with the same gpu. Now i’m thinking there’s something up with mine, i never get close to 500 fps on minecraft
I want to buy my boyfriend a PC for Christmas. I’ve watched a lot of videos but am still kind of lost at what would be best to purchase. I’m wanting to spend $1,000 and thinking Jawa would be a good place to look after seeing this video. Do you have any suggestions on what to look out for?
I have this exact pc, It has a constantly reoccurring BSOD sometimes when I shut it down.
Error code: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
Also the RGB software is broken
I recently built a pc, Microcenter had a bundle 12900k, z690 mobo, and 32gb of ddr5 for 400 bucks. Stellar deal, I love Microcenter!
Ya but you aren't including total cost of that specific build. You left out a hard drive, OS, GPU, Case, and PSU
Love to hear that
2TB NVME WD 850 - 110, Case - 170, I splurged on a Fractal Design North, CPU cooler - Noctua NH-15 - 110, OS - 25 for a key, I had A 1k watt PSU and RTX 3080 already. Mines not a good example of the $1000 gaming PC since I had some of the parts. More just stating what great deals you can find at Microcenter.
I got a near same pc on sale for $729.99 on best buy
