Tara this is a beautiful piece! I first learned of this technique by Elyse Fournier and then Bonnie Keane (Fluids by Keane) a few years ago. Now I see Dwight & Sarah doing it with beautiful results too... But yours is unique with the Dutch wave washing over the pearls. Very beautiful. This is one of those techniques I've never been able to perfect with the white in the past - and I tried at least 20-30 times. I seem to have no trouble with the gold pearl cells but these white ones elude me!! ❤️ Beautiful video too.
Thanks Heather! I first saw it with Dwight and since watching his videos I have been subsequently turned on to Sara, Elyse and most recently Bonnie. I am now following them all on either UA-cam or Instagram. They are all awesome artists and I’m so excited to try out the techniques they have pioneered. I realized I’m never going to be anyone of them because they are so unique...just as you are...so I decided to put my own spin on it. I’m so happy you like it...I appreciate your feedback as a fellow artist who is well respected...it means a lot to me. ❤️

Hi Dora. In the puddle and Dutch pour colors I don’t put Liquitex in. I use my pouring medium of 50% GAC 800 and 50% Floetrol mixed with all my colors to the consistency in my mixing video. My video I put out a week ago explains how I mix my paints. I only use Liquitex in my base coat. Hope that helps.
What do you use the medium for the pearl cell ?
Thank you for the question. The recipe for the pearl cells is in the description box. As well, I will link a video to “How I Mix My Paints for Pearl Cells”: ua-cam.com/video/ddUrrtQi1Eg/v-deo.html
I hope this helps! ☺️
Super
Thanks so much Aldas! 🙏🏻☺️
Envy it lol soooo beautiful. Do you watch your transparent and opaque. I think I am my worst enemy
Aww. Thank you so much! To be honest I don’t worry too much about the transparent and opaque thing…maybe I should worry more about it…🤔 I just go with what I like…🤷🏻♀️❤️☺️🙏🏻
