I put it in Doggo + Tevesh to do one thing: Attack with Doggo wearing Empyrial Plate, then Ad Naus before damage... For the silliest commander damage kill ever.
Hi! As a casual Magic enjoyer, and cEDH content consumer, hearing your thoughts behind each card decision is incredibly valuable and will benefit my own deck building in the future. And I just love a good deck tech video, so this kind of blind deck tech is really interesting. Bravo as always Rebell, keep up the great work.
I played against this deck at SD2 round one. This deck is sweet! That game was also crazy. This player and a kinnan player both drew their decks with Consecrated Sphinx
Hullbreaker easy to cast when you’re stealing vaults and crypts, and then you make infinite mana with your own mana positive rocks using the bounce triggers
This video format is great! We get to see you thinking through the list, making predictions along the way, and it’s also cool to see your face for nonverbal info! This list, with your suggestions, looks great too! Cut Mox Diamond and Gilded Drake and it might actually be the cheapest Tournament-legal cEDH list everrrrrr 😂
The interesting thing is that you can steal lands, notably Vault Of Whispers for just how it’s very crucial for those decks to turbo a Beseech The Mirror.
@@issacharlane4003 that is an old rule that no longer applies, ever since colourless became a type of mana required to cast certain eldrazi cards. Getting to use a city of brass to cast an endbringer with a mox diamond is not something that is intended for example, so you can now produce mana of any color regardless of your color identity
You know whats better than 1 stifle effect 3 stifle effects!! Stifle, Kadina's Silencer(Morph does not use the stack means no priority passing) , & Trickbind (best way to stop Thassa's Oracle) Krosan Grip & Extirpate(this stops all grave yard wins) I've been liking split second cards the more i play them in cedh might try and incorporate a few into my brew on Kruam & Reyhan.
The act of unmorphing a creature, itself, does not use the stack. The trigger which happens from doing so, absolutely uses the stack and can absolutely be responded to. (And Stifled)
Hidden strings was MVP when I started playing standard in original Theros, there’s so much utility in just connecting with thada and then tapping 2 important pieces or just untapping your own rocks. It’s a good card that gives value every turn, nice to see it!!
With all the utility 1 drop spells in here, could Micromancer make it in here? It's expensive but this deck has access to a lot more mana than most, so it could be an interesting consideration
2:41 “The fantasy is like you’re playing in the finals against Brian Coval, Brian Coval, Brian Coval (somehow he cloned himself 3 times)” so he’d be…BoshNClone?
If I had to guess you can isochron with mystical tutor and just keep taking extra turns with nexus of fate and kill everyone with your commander since she has island walk and most pods have 3-4 blue players. That’s pretty cheeky
Just thinking, as this deck can play big based mana spells - what about tidespout tyrant? Get it out early, steal the opponents, rocks, each cast is now bouncing all their resources
Fun analysis, but weird question/video idea: Can you apply cEDH strats/tech into non-cEDH decks/commanders? As a person with a mortgage and limited liquid funds, buying Mana Crypt/Classic Duals/Good Fetches/etc is a bit rich for my blood, but I'm in a pod of "wannabe cEDH" players and trying to build decks that can really spice games up. Currently my best deck is Brenard and it's probably a "low 7" and I think insight into the deckbuilding process for some of us would be fun especially if you can do something where "if you are on a budget, here's how you can compete." Thanks and have a wonderful day
It’s a good question but might not be a core aptitude exercise for this channel. But! Compared to most cEDH lists’ expense, this list is cheap minus the Mox Diamond and Gilded Drake
seems like putting a budget restriction for all players but keeping to the spirit of cedh would be good in that case. for instance everyone gets only $100 dollars but should use that to try and create the most powerful deck possible in that limit
I love Steal Enchantment and yes you are right it is so much underrated. STEAL a Smothering Tithe for just two mana? Yes please! I was wondering why not Copy Artifact is played in this deck. If you miss to catch a One Ring and a player cast it, you could just copy it this way.
Tarnished enters untapped, gives any color of mana, even diamond if you need it ( C, , whatever ) with no requirement other than you Bolting yourself. If you somehow don't have an artifact, Spire doesn't do shit.
@@Magidexokay but if you want to activate an opponent's stolen artifact... You're gonna have an artifact in play. (I didn't realize you had replied until now mb lmao)
@@ClubbingSealCub You literally asked what the point of Citadel is in cEDH. It makes any color of mana you need, turn 1, no restrictions. That's it. Spire requires something.
As a mono blue enjoyer lemme tell ya, you commandeer an ad nause once and you're never taking that card out of your deck afterward

I am not a cEDH player but I love the idea of Thada Adel kicking some butt. I "live" cEDH vicariously through the UA-cams.
"I would actually just play Wasteland here. For fun." is the hardest lyric of 2023
Mystical Tutor onto Isochron also creates an infinite loop with Nexus of Fate when all else fails

Ok the one ring is doing stupid things to the format love 💓💓💓
Also love for irl Rebel!!!

love irl rebel diving into deck :)
I really like this video format in the mix with your more edited vids. Seems like a fun commander
The interesting thing is that you can steal lands, notably Vault Of Whispers for just how it’s very crucial for those decks to turbo a Beseech The Mirror.
Love your deck breakdowns, seeing you think through the list as you’re reviewing it is super insightful!!
you don't need tutors because you can steal the WISHCLAWS that's amazing
oh wait but how do you cast it, need to find a mox diamond or something first...
Steal the mox diamond!
@@loganowens623you have tarnished citadel, mox amber and other things as well. It's not impossible to cast
Cant even add that color of mana to pool. Auto becomes colorless.

I really like this format. First impressions especially pull out the thought process through plays. My wishlist is getting a little big tho...

I adore these videos. They're very fun.
That's a sick hat
More content like this!! Love the format! ❤
I love Adel
For real shoulda named the deck Rolling in the Deep 😂
A mono red Themberchaud without Dockside and now mono blue without Rhystic. Love it 😂

Very curious to learn more about the SEFRIS deck that also Top16'd this tournament?

Correction: There is no point at which Nexus goes to your graveyard. Its effect replaces that event with, being shuffled in instead.
Naming her Adel and Adele having a song called rolling in the deep was 100% intentional, I guarantee it.🤣
also i think id love love agent of treachery. big mana creature and you basically get 3 extra cards a turn from stealing artifacts
